Efficient Water Usage: Understanding Your DALSKÄR Tap
The DALSKÄR mixer tap is designed for efficient water usage, particularly concerning hot water consumption.
Diagram Description: The accompanying diagram illustrates the tap's operation. It shows the tap lever. An upward movement of the lever (straight up) is associated with dispensing cold water. A movement of the lever to the left is associated with dispensing hot water.
How it Works:
- Standard Taps: Typically, lifting a tap lever straight up releases both cold and hot water simultaneously. Often, the hot water doesn't fully exit the tap and remains in the valve, leading to unnecessary waste.
- DALSKÄR Mixer Tap:
- When you lift the lever straight up, only cold water is dispensed. This feature significantly reduces the waste of hot water and conserves energy.
- To dispense hot water, lift the lever to the left.
This design promotes energy savings by minimizing the use of hot water when only cold water is needed.
