Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Mount the Mixer Tap
Insert the mixer tap body through the hole in the sink or countertop. From underneath, secure the tap using the provided mounting bracket and screws. Ensure the tap is correctly oriented.
Step 2: Connect Water Supply
Connect the flexible hoses to the water supply inlets on the mixer tap. Ensure a secure connection.
Step 3: Seal the Base
Apply silicone sealant around the open surfaces where the tap meets the countertop to prevent water ingress. The silicone is not included. Use a water- and mould-resistant silicone sealant suitable for installation, conforming to EN 15651-3, Class XS1.
Step 4: Connect to Water Mains
Connect the flexible hoses to the hot and cold water supply pipes. The pipe connection must be flat and free from sharp edges. IMPORTANT: Do not overtighten connections, as this can damage hoses, pipes, and washers. Ensure correct hose connections are used; avoid incorrect types (indicated by crossed-out diagrams).
Step 5: Prepare for Use
Before initial use, unscrew the aerator/flow guide with a coin. Allow water to run freely for a few minutes to flush out any debris. Screw the aerator/flow guide back into place until it stops. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
Step 6: Check for Leaks
Periodically check the installation to ensure there are no leaks.
Step 7: Install the Pop-Up Drain
The mixer tap includes a pop-up drain mechanism. Follow these steps:
7a. Install Drain Body: Insert the drain body into the sink's drain hole from the top. From underneath the sink, secure the drain body with the provided rubber seal and retaining nut. Ensure the overflow connection point is oriented correctly.
7b. Install Stopper Mechanism: Insert the stopper assembly into the drain body from above. Connect the pop-up rod to the stopper mechanism.
7c. Connect Pop-Up Lever: Attach the pop-up lever to the back of the mixer tap body. Connect the pop-up rod from the stopper to the lever mechanism.
7d. Test Operation: Operate the pop-up lever to ensure the drain stopper opens and closes smoothly.
