SIARR 04-155 Towbar Installation Guide for Renault Laguna III

Preparation

1. Detach the plastic protector under the vehicle.

2. Make a cut in the protector as shown in Detail 1.

Assembly

1. Insert spacers (D) with their bolts into the side-members at points X on the vehicle.

2. On the inside of the side-members, position arms (A) and (B) at points X. Insert washers (C) between the side-members and arms, then fasten without tightening using bolt block X.

3. Position the towbar body and fasten it, without tightening, at points V – W using bolt kits V – W.

Finishing

1. Tighten all fasteners to the specified torques in the following order: X – V – W.

2. Refit the plastic protector.

Diagram Description

Fastening Kit

For points V:

• 2 x HM10x35 cl8.8 screws
• 2 x DEC10 washers
• 2 x HM10 cl8.8 nuts

For points X:

• 4 x HM12x110 cl8.8 screws
• 4 x DEC12 washers
• 4 x HM12 cl8.8 nuts
• 4 x 12.5/30 plain washers (5mm thick, labeled C)
• 4 x 12.5/30 plain washers
• 4 x 20/32 foam washers (10mm thick)
• 4 x 12.5/22 Lg.70mm (D) spacers
