Westfalia Towbar Installation Manual
SIARR 5453
This manual provides instructions for the installation of the Westfalia towbar system (SIARR 5453) for the Renault Modus II.
Preparation
- Remove the spare wheel.
Assembly
- Locate the side rails outside attachment points X and Y on either side of the chassis.
- Without tightening, introduce attachment arms A, along with spacers B to the left and C to the right, using fastening blocks X and Y, to mounting points X and Y.
- Attach the coupler body to points V and W using fastening units V et W.
The diagram illustrates the mounting points on the vehicle chassis (X, Y, V, W) and the attachment of components A, B, and C. It shows how the towbar arms and body are connected to the vehicle frame.
Finishing
- Mount the coupler head using the fastening block Z.
- Fasten the entire assembly to the indicated frame points, starting in the following order: X - Y - V - W - Z - U.
- Replace the spare wheel.
