- Step 1: Access the spare tire compartment in the rear of the vehicle.
- Step 2: Identify the mounting points on the vehicle's undercarriage, near the exhaust system.
- Step 3: Loosen and remove any existing components obstructing the tow bar mounting points.
- Step 4: Position the tow bar bracket (part 'a') onto the vehicle frame, aligning it with the pre-drilled holes.
- Step 5: Insert bolts (e.g., 'h', 'i', 'l') through the bracket and into the vehicle frame.
- Step 6: Loosely tighten the bolts using the appropriate tools (e.g., T20 wrench).
- Step 7: Repeat the process for the second tow bar bracket (part 'b').
- Step 8: Attach the main tow bar assembly to the brackets using the remaining hardware.
- Step 9: Ensure all connections are secure and tighten all bolts to the specified torque values.
- Step 10: Refer to the electrical wiring diagram for trailer light connections.
- Step 11: Reinstall any removed components, such as the bumper or exhaust heat shield, if necessary.
- Step 12: Attach the tow ball and electrical socket.
- Step 13-14: Illustrate specific mounting configurations for different vehicle variations.
- Step 15a/15b: Show the final assembly and dimensions. Note the 'X' markings indicating the number of rubber dampers used in specific configurations.

- Step 17-19: Show final checks and adjustments, including the use of a T20 tool.
- Step 20: Final check with the spare tire in place.
Note on Rubber Dampers: The 'X' markings in steps 16a and 16b indicate the number of rubber dampers to be used in specific mounting configurations. For example, X=0 means no dampers, X=1 means one damper, X=1+1 means two dampers, and so on.
