Preparation
- Remove the spare wheel.
- Drop the exhaust down.
- Under the vehicle, inside the longitudinals, locate and remove the 4 plugs (2+2) that correspond to the points marked X.
Assembly
The assembly involves attaching several components to the vehicle chassis. The main parts are labelled 'a' (crosspiece), 'b' (right arm), 'c' (left arm), and 'e' (tow ball). Attachment points are marked X, Y, and Z.
- Fasten the right arm "b" to the points marked X using fastening kit X (refer to Fig. 1). Fig. 1 shows the right arm being attached to the chassis at points X.
- Fasten the left arm "c" to the points marked X using fastening kit X (refer to Fig. 2). Fig. 2 shows the left arm being attached to the chassis at points X.
- Fasten the crosspiece "a" with the arms "b" and "c" to the points marked Y using fastening kit Y. If there is any play, insert the ring shims "d" to ensure a snug fit.
- Fasten the tow ball "e" to the points marked Z using fastening kit Z.
A general diagram illustrates the fully assembled tow bar mounted on the vehicle chassis. A warning symbol ⚠️ is shown near a specific connection point, indicating caution is advised.
Finishing
- Tighten all nuts, bolts, and screws to the specified torques indicated in the table below.
- Refasten the exhaust in place.
- Replace the spare wheel.

- 6 x CS10 washers
- 4 x HM10 nuts (class 8)
