Bluetooth Connection
Follow these steps to connect your JLab Epic ANC earbuds:

Enable Bluetooth from your device's settings.

Press and hold the button for 8 seconds. Release the button. The indicator lights will begin flashing blue and red.

Select 'JLab Epic ANC' in your device's connection settings. Once connected, the earbuds will emit 2 beeps, and a blue light will flash slowly.

Recurring Use
After the initial connection is complete, the JLab Epic ANC earbuds will automatically connect to your Bluetooth device each time they are powered on. Refer to the BUTTON FUNCTIONS section for instructions.
Attention & Charging Safety
Ensure the USB port cover is properly closed to protect it from potential damage caused by contact with water or sweat. Before charging, ensure the JLab Epic ANC earbuds are completely dry. Exposure to moisture may damage internal components. It is advisable to let the earbuds air dry before charging.

Button Functions
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)
- ANC Power On/Off: Press and hold for over 2 seconds.
- Cycle ANC Modes (Low/High/Be Aware): Single press.
General Controls
- VOLUME -: ? Single press.
- VOLUME +: ? Single press.
- PREVIOUS TRACK: ⏮️ Press and hold for over 2 seconds.
- NEXT TRACK: ⏭️ Press and hold for over 2 seconds.
- POWER ON/OFF: Press and hold for over 2 seconds.
- PLAY/PAUSE/ANSWER/END CALL: ▶️ Single press.
- REJECT INCOMING CALL: Press and hold for over 1 second.
- ACTIVATE SIRI (iOS) OR "OK GOOGLE" (ANDROID): ?️ Double press.
- BLUETOOTH CONNECTION: Refer to the Bluetooth connection section.

Vocal Notifications
- POWER ON: Audible tone.
- BLUETOOTH CONNECTED: Two beeps.
- LOW BATTERY: "Low battery" voice prompt (Below 20%).
- POWER OFF: Audible tone.
Using the AUX Adapter

Connect the USB cable to the JLab Epic ANC earbuds and connect the AUX adapter to the USB.

Play in airplane mode or from a mobile device using the AUX connection. Play via cable without consuming battery power.

Charging
Connect to a computer or a USB power supply (5V 1A or less).

Status:
- CHARGING: Indicator light is red.
- CHARGING COMPLETE: Indicator light turns off or blue.
Troubleshooting Connection Issues
Device Not Detecting JLab Epic ANC Earbuds
- Turn Bluetooth off and on again from your device's settings.
- If the device still does not detect the JLab Epic ANC earbuds, repeat the INITIAL SETUP procedure: refer to the BLUETOOTH CONNECTION instructions.
JLab Epic ANC Earbuds Not Auto-Connecting After Power On
- Go to your device's settings and remove/forget the JLab Epic ANC earbuds.
- Turn Bluetooth off and on again from your device's settings.
- Repeat the INITIAL SETUP procedure: refer to the BLUETOOTH CONNECTION instructions.
Bluetooth Connecting to Undesired Device
Important: The JLab Epic ANC earbuds can memorize up to 8 devices. Upon powering on, they will attempt to automatically connect to the last used device.
- If more than one device has been connected, disable Bluetooth on the unwanted devices and enable it on the desired ones.
- To re-enter pairing mode: Press and hold the button for 10 seconds. Release the button. The indicator light will begin flashing red and blue to indicate connection mode. Select 'JLab Epic ANC' in your device's connection settings. Once connected, the light will flash blue slowly.
Precautions
- Avoid moisture or liquid entering the earcups or charging port cover.
- Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds; avoid bending the cable or subjecting it to excessive stress, pulling quickly or with too much force.
- Earwax buildup in the earcups may affect sound quality. Carefully remove it with a cotton swab or a similarly sized tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, lower the volume or temporarily stop using the earbuds.
- If discomfort persists during use, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
- It is recommended to handle the earbuds with care and store them in a safe place when not in use.
