First Time Setup
Auto-Connect Earbuds
1A. Remove earbuds from charging case and peel off protective film.

Select "JLab Epic Air ANC" in your device's settings. A double beep and solid white indicator lights mean you are connected.

Turn off Bluetooth on any previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. Remove earbuds from the case; they will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select "JLab Epic Air ANC" in your new device's settings to connect.
Download App
Customize Epic Air ANC functions and update firmware. Download the JLab Air ANC app from the Apple/Google Play Store.

Left Touch Sensor
- Volume Down: Single tap.
- SIRI (iOS) or "OK GOOGLE" (ANDROID): Double tap.
- "Aware" Mode / ANC On / ANC Off: Press and hold for 1 second. (Indicated by one beep / two beeps).
- Change EQ: Triple tap.
Right Touch Sensor
- Volume Up: Single tap.
- Play/Pause: Double tap.
- Track Forward: Press and hold for 1 second.
- Change EQ: Triple tap.
Call Handling
- Answer Call: Single tap (left or right earbud).
- End Call: Double tap (left or right earbud).
- Reject Call: Double tap and hold for 1 second (left or right earbud).
Voice Prompts
- Power On: Chime.
- Bluetooth Pairing: "Ready to Pair".
- Epic Air ANC is ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.
- "Aware" Mode On/Off: One beep / Two beeps.
- ANC On/Off: Chime.
- Bluetooth Connected: Two beeps.
- Earbuds Connected to Device.
- Battery Full (100-80%).
- Battery Medium (80-20%).
- Battery Low (Below 20%. When battery reaches 10%, "Low Battery" will play once).
- Power Off: Chime.
EQ Modes
Triple tap either earbud for different EQ settings. Voice prompts will indicate the EQ mode (Epic Air ANC cycles through 4 EQ modes). Customize EQ settings in the JLab Air ANC app.
- JLab Classic Mode (Beep): Classic sound with amplified vocals and bass.
- Balanced Mode (Two Beeps): Balanced sound with no additional enhancements.
- Bass Boost Mode (Three Beeps): Amplified bass and sub-bass.
- Custom EQ Settings: Customize via the JLab Air ANC App.
Auto On/Off
1. Placing earbuds in the charging case will turn them off and begin charging. A blue light indicates the earbuds are charging and will turn off when fully charged.

Wired Charging
Connect Epic Air ANC to a computer or USB 5V 1A (or smaller) power source.

Place the charging case on a Qi-compatible wireless charging pad.

Fit
Try all included ear tip sizes to ensure the best fit and seal.

One Earbud No Sound or Disconnected (Manual Reset)
- Go to your Bluetooth device settings and "Forget" JLab Epic Air ANC. (See Diagram A).
- Keep earbuds in the charging case. Quickly tap the sensor on one earbud 7 times. The indicator light will flash blue 3 times. (See Diagram C).
- Repeat on the other earbud. Quickly tap the sensor 7 times. The indicator light will flash blue 3 times. (See Diagram C).
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud to show a solid white light, and the other to flash blue/white. They are now ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.
Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting
- Go to your Bluetooth device settings and "Forget" JLab Epic Air ANC. (See Diagram A).
- Turn Bluetooth off and then back on. (See Diagram B).
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud to show a solid white light, and the other to flash blue/white.
- Select "JLab Epic Air ANC" in your device settings to reconnect.

Quick Tips
- Left or right earbuds can be used individually for music and calls. Simply take one out of the case to connect.
- Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on unused devices before connecting to a new one.
- Ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case to prevent damage.
Warning
If earbuds have water or moisture, it can damage the charging case. Damage to the charging case due to water/sweat is not covered by warranty.

- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
- Earwax buildup can occur in the earbud tips, reducing sound quality. Clean gently with a cotton swab or small tool to improve sound.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or stopping use temporarily.
- If you consistently experience discomfort while using the product, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- Treat your earbuds like a pair of fine sunglasses; store them in a safe place when not in use.
