First-Time Setup

1. Auto-Connecting In-Ear Earbuds

   A. Remove the earbuds from the charging case and peel off the protective stickers from each earbud. [Visual: Earbuds being removed from the charging case, with a focus on peeling off small stickers from the earbuds].

2. Connect BLUETOOTH

   Navigate to your device's Bluetooth settings and select "JLab Epic Air ANC". You will hear two confirmation beeps, and the white indicator light will turn solid when the connection is established. Adding New or Additional BLUETOOTH Devices

To connect a new device, first turn off Bluetooth on any previously paired devices. Then, turn on Bluetooth for the new device. Remove both earbuds from the charging case; they will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select "JLab Epic Air ANC" in your device's Bluetooth settings to complete the connection.

Controls & Features

Sound Prompts

• Power On: Chime
• Bluetooth Pairing: "Pairing Ready" (Indicates the Epic Air ANC is ready to pair with your Bluetooth device)
• On/Off Note: A single beep or double beep.
• Bluetooth Connection: Two beeps (Confirms earbuds are connected to the device)
• Battery Full: "Battery Full" (Indicates 100-80% charge)
• Battery Half Full: "Battery Half Full" (Indicates 80-20% charge)
• Low Battery: "Low Battery" (Plays when charge is below 20%; a second prompt plays at 10% charge)
• Power Off: Chime

Equalizer (EQ) Modes

Triple tap either earbud to cycle through the available EQ settings. The earbuds will provide audio prompts to indicate the current mode. For advanced customization of EQ profiles, download the JLab Air ANC app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• JLab SIGNATURE (1 beep): This mode emphasizes vocals and bass, providing the signature JLab C3™ sound profile.
• BALANCED (2 beeps): Offers a neutral and balanced audio output suitable for various content.
• BASS BOOST (3 beeps): Enhances bass and sub-bass frequencies for a more powerful low-end experience.
• CUSTOM EQ (Beep): Allows users to create and save personalized EQ settings via the JLab Air ANC app.

Powering On/Off

1. Placing the earbuds back into the charging case automatically powers them off and initiates the charging process. The blue indicator light on the earbud signifies charging status and turns off once fully charged. [Visual: Earbuds seated within the charging case, showing a blue charging light].

Charging Your Earbuds

Wired Charging

Connect the Epic Air ANC earbuds to a computer or a USB 5V 1A (or lower) power source using the provided USB cable. The LED indicator on the earbuds will flash white while charging and remain solid white once fully charged. [Visual: A USB cable connecting the earbuds to a power adapter or computer port].

Wireless Charging

Place the charging case onto a compatible wireless charging platform. The LED indicator on the case will flash white while charging and turn solid white once fully charged. [Visual: The charging case positioned on a wireless charging pad].

Achieving the Best Fit

To ensure optimal sound quality and comfort, try all the included ear tips to find the perfect fit. Insert the earbud into your ear canal and gently twist it until it sits securely and provides a good seal. Troubleshooting Common Issues

One Earbud or Audio Disconnected (Manual Reset Procedure)

1. On your connected Bluetooth device, navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu and select "Forget" or "Unpair" for the "JLab Epic Air ANC". Refer to Diagram A for guidance. [Visual: A smartphone screen showing the Bluetooth settings list with an option to forget a device].
2. Place both earbuds back into the charging case. Quickly tap the touch sensor on one earbud exactly 7 times. The earbud's indicator light will flash blue three times, confirming the reset. 3. Repeat step 2 for the other earbud. Its indicator light will also flash blue three times. Refer to Diagram C.
4. Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait until one earbud displays a solid white light and the other flashes blue/white, indicating pairing mode and ready to connect to your Bluetooth device.

BLUETOOTH Device Not Connecting or Reconnecting

1. On your Bluetooth device, go to settings and select "Forget" or "Unpair" for the "JLab Epic Air ANC". Refer to Diagram A.
2. Turn your device's Bluetooth function off, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Refer to Diagram B. [Visual: A smartphone screen showing the Bluetooth toggle switch being deactivated and then reactivated].
3. Remove the earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud to show a solid white light and the other to flash blue/white, indicating pairing readiness.
4. In your device's Bluetooth settings, select "JLab Epic Air ANC" to establish the connection.

Helpful Tips & Important Precautions

Helpful Tips

• You can use either the left or right earbud independently for music playback and phone calls. Simply remove one earbud from the case to initiate connection.
• The earbuds support connection to only one Bluetooth device at a time. To connect to a different device, ensure Bluetooth is turned off on any previously connected devices, then enable Bluetooth on your desired new device.
• Always ensure the earbuds are completely dry before placing them into the charging case to prevent any potential damage.

Warning

To prevent damage to the charging case, do not charge the earbuds if they are wet or damp. If the charging case exhibits any signs of water or sweat damage, the warranty will be void. [Visual: A warning icon ⚠️ indicating potential damage].

Precautions

• Avoid exposing the earbuds to extreme temperatures (heat or cold) and high humidity.
• Do not drop or crush the earbuds, as this may cause damage.
• Earwax accumulation on the earbud tips can negatively affect sound quality. Carefully clean any earwax using a cotton swab or a similar small tool to restore optimal audio performance.
• If you experience any discomfort or pain during use, please reduce the volume or temporarily discontinue using the earbuds.
• Should you experience persistent discomfort while using the product, cease usage immediately and consult a medical professional.
• Handle your earbuds with care, much like you would a pair of premium sunglasses. Store them in a safe and secure location when they are not in use.
