Initial Setup

Automatic Earbud Pairing

1. Remove the earbuds from the charging case and remove the protective stickers.

2. Press and hold for 3+ seconds on each earbud. When one earbud flashes blue and white, the earbuds are ready to pair with your device.

Bluetooth Connection

In your device's Bluetooth settings, select 'JLab Epic Air ANC'. After connecting, you will hear a two-beep audio cue, followed by a solid white light.

Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices

Turn off Bluetooth on the device previously connected to the earbuds. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. Remove the earbuds from the case. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. To connect, select 'JLab Epic Air ANC' in the new device's settings.

Controls

Right Touch Sensor

• Volume Up: Single tap
• Play/Pause: Double tap
• Track Forward: Press and hold for 1+ seconds
• Change EQ: Triple tap

Left Touch Sensor

• Volume Down: Single tap
• Activate Google Assistant or Siri: Double tap
• Be Aware / ANC On / ANC Off: Press and hold for 1+ seconds
• Change EQ: Triple tap

Call Controls

• Answer Call: Single tap left or right
• End Call: Double tap left or right
• Reject Incoming Call: Double tap and hold for 1+ second left or right

Music/Movie Mode

Press and hold both touch sensors simultaneously for 3+ seconds.

Power Off Without Case

Turn off Bluetooth in device settings. Earbuds will power off in 3 seconds.

Voice Prompts

• Power On: Bell sound ?
• Bluetooth Pairing: 'Ready to Pair'
• Be Aware On/Off: Single beep ? / double beep ??
• ANC On/Off: Bell sound ?
• Bluetooth Connected: Two beeps ??
• Earbud Connected to Device
• Battery Levels: 'Battery Full' (80-100%), 'Battery Medium' (80-20%), 'Battery Low' (below 20%). 'Low Battery' prompt plays once when battery drops below 10%.
• Power Off: Bell sound ?

Equalizer (EQ) Modes

For different EQ settings, triple tap one of the earbuds. Voice prompts will announce EQ settings (Epic Air ANC cycles through 4 EQ settings). Download the JLab Air ANC app from the Apple/Google App Store to customize all EQ settings.

• JLab SIGNATURE: Beep ? (Default)
• BALANCED: Balanced sound without the signature JLab C3™ sound.
• BASS BOOST: Enhanced highs and boosted bass.

Automatic Power On/Off

1. Placing the earbuds in the charging case will power them off and begin charging. A blue light indicates charging, which turns off when charging is complete.

2. After removal from the charging case, the earbuds power on and connect automatically.

Charging

Charging via Cable

Connect the Epic Air ANC to a computer or device with a USB port (5V 1A or less). LED lights will flash white during charging and turn solid white when charging is complete.

Wireless Charging

Place the charging case on a wireless charging pad. LED lights will flash white during charging and turn solid white when charging is complete.

Fit

Try all included ear tips for the best fit and seal.

Insert the earbud into your ear canal and twist slightly until you achieve a secure fit.

Troubleshooting

No Sound in One Earbud, or Earbuds Disconnected (Manual Reset)

1. Go to your device's Bluetooth settings and remove 'JLab Epic Air ANC'. (See diagram A)
2. Keep earbuds in the charging case, and tap the touch sensor on one earbud 7 times consecutively. The light will flash blue 3 times. (See diagram B)
3. Repeat for the other earbud. Tap the touch sensor 7 times consecutively. The light will flash blue 3 times. (See diagram C)
4. Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait until one earbud shows a solid white light, and the other flashes blue/white. You can now pair the earbuds with your Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting

1. Go to your device's Bluetooth settings and remove 'JLab Epic Air ANC'. (See diagram A)
2. Turn Bluetooth off, then turn it back on. (See diagram B)
3. Remove the earbuds from the case. Wait until one shows a solid white light, and the other flashes blue/white.
4. To reconnect, select 'JLab Epic Air ANC' in your device's settings.

Warnings & Care

Warning: Ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case. If earbuds are damp or wet, it will cause damage to the charging case. If the charging case shows signs of water/sweat damage, it will void the warranty.

Quick Tips

• You can use either the left or right earbud independently for music and phone calls. Simply select one and remove it from the case to connect.
• Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. To connect to a specific device, turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.
• Ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case to prevent case damage.

Please Note

• Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
• Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
• Earwax buildup may occur on ear tips, leading to reduced sound quality. Gently clean earwax with a cotton swab or small cloth to improve sound quality.
• If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or temporarily discontinue use.
• If you experience persistent discomfort while using the product, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
• We recommend treating your earbuds like expensive sunglasses and storing them in a safe place when not in use.
