Getting Started: Initial Setup
1. Auto-Connect Earbuds
A. Remove the earbuds from the charging case and peel off the protective film. This involves gently pulling a small film from the earbud tip.
B. Press and hold each earbud for 3+ seconds. The blue and white indicator lights will flash, indicating they are ready to pair. This action is shown with a finger pressing the earbud's touch sensor.
2. Connect Bluetooth
On your device's settings, select "Epic Air Sport ANC". A double beep and solid white light on the earbud indicate connection. A smartphone screen displays Bluetooth settings with "Epic Air Sport ANC" connected.
Add New/Other Bluetooth Devices:
Turn off Bluetooth on any previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on your new device. Remove the earbuds from the case; they will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select "Epic Air Sport ANC" in your new device's settings to connect.
Download the JLab Air ANC App
Customize your Epic Air Sport ANC features and update the latest software. Download the JLab Air ANC app from the Apple/Google Play store.
Controls
Left Touch Sensor
- Volume Down: Single tap
- SIRI (iOS) or "OK GOOGLE" (ANDROID): Double tap
- Aware Mode / ANC On / ANC Off: Press and hold for 1+ second
- Change EQ: Triple tap
Right Touch Sensor
- Volume Up: Single tap
- Play/Pause: Double tap
- Track Forward: Press and hold for 1+ second
- Change EQ: Triple tap
Calls
- Answer Call: Single tap left or right earbud
- End Call: Double tap left or right earbud
- Reject Call: Double tap and hold for 1+ second
Music/Movie Mode: Press and hold both touch sensors for 3 seconds.
To turn off power without the charging case: Turn off Bluetooth from your device settings. The earbuds will power off automatically after 3 minutes.
Voice Prompts
- Power On: Chime
- Bluetooth Pairing: "Ready to Pair"
- Epic Air Sport ANC ready to pair with your Bluetooth device
- Aware Mode On/Off: 1 beep / 2 beeps
- ANC On/Off: Chime
- Bluetooth Connected: 2 beeps
- Earbuds Connected to Device
- Battery Full: "Battery Full" (100-80%)
- Battery Medium: "Battery Medium" (80-20%)
- Battery Low: "Battery Low" (Below 20%. "Low Battery" will play once when power is at 10%)
- Power Off: Chime
EQ Modes
Triple tap either earbud to cycle through different EQ settings. Voice prompts will indicate the EQ setting (Epic Air Sport ANC will cycle through 4 EQ modes). Customize EQ settings in the Apple/Google Play store by downloading the JLab Air ANC app.
- JLab Classic Mode (Beep 1): JLab C3™ tuning, enhances vocals and bass.
- Balanced Mode (Beep 2): Balanced sound, no additional enhancements.
- Bass Boost Mode (Beep 3): Enhances low-end and sub-bass frequencies (customize with the JLab Air ANC App).
Auto On/Off
1. Placing the earbuds in the charging case will turn them off and begin charging. A blue light indicates the earbuds are charging and will turn off when fully charged. This is illustrated by earbuds inside the case showing charging lights.
2. The earbuds will automatically turn on and begin connecting when removed from the charging case. This is shown by earbuds being taken out of the case.
A smartphone's Bluetooth settings menu shows "JLab Epic Air Sport Connected" as an active connection.
Charging
Wired Charging
Connect the Epic Air Sport ANC to a computer or USB 5V 1A (or smaller) output device. The charging case is shown connected via a USB cable to a computer or power adapter.
Charging Indicator: During charging, the LED pulses white, and turns solid white when fully charged.
Wireless Charging
Place the charging case on a wireless charging pad. The charging case is depicted positioned on a wireless charging pad.
Charging Indicator: During charging, the LED pulses white, and turns solid white when fully charged.
Fit
Try all included ear tip sizes to ensure the best fit and a proper seal. Insert the earbud into your ear canal and gently twist to adjust for the best fit. This process is illustrated in three steps: inserting the earbud, twisting it, and ensuring a snug fit.
Troubleshooting
One Earbud No Sound or Disconnected (Manual Reset)
- Go to your Bluetooth device settings and "Forget" the Epic Air Sport ANC. See Diagram A.
- Keep earbuds in the charging case, and quickly tap the sensor on one earbud 7 times. The indicator light will flash blue 3 times. See Diagram C.
- Repeat on the other earbud. Quickly tap the sensor 7 times. The indicator light will flash blue 3 times. See Diagram C.
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud to turn solid white, and the other to flash blue/white. They are now ready to pair to your Bluetooth device.
Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting
- Go to your Bluetooth device settings and "Forget" the Epic Air Sport ANC. See Diagram A.
- Turn Bluetooth off and then on again. See Diagram B.
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud to turn solid white, and the other to flash blue/white.
- In your device settings, select "Epic Air Sport ANC" to reconnect.

Quick Tips
- Either the left or right earbud can be used for music and phone calls. Just select one and remove it from the case to connect.
- Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on any devices you do not want to connect to, then turn on Bluetooth on the device you wish to connect to.
- Ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case to prevent damage to the case.

Warning: Ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case. If earbuds are wet or damp, it will damage the charging case. Damage to the charging case due to moisture/sweat is not covered under warranty. ⚠️
Precautions:
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and moisture.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
- Earwax may build up in the earbud tips, reducing sound quality. Carefully clean earwax with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or temporarily stopping use.
- If you experience persistent discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
- We recommend treating your earbuds like a pair of stylish sunglasses, storing them in a safe place when not in use.
