Product Information
Using the most advanced conductance testing technology and reverse polarity protection, the 12V-24V battery tester provides critical information about the tested battery's condition to quickly diagnose battery and charging problems.
Compatibility
Battery type and CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) values are indicated on the battery label. Please refer to them before use. The tester supports the following battery types: VRLA, GEL, AGM, EFB, STD.
Instructions for Safe Use
- This tester must be used in accordance with the user manual, taking into account the working conditions and the type of work performed. Using the tester in a way that does not correspond to its intended purpose may cause dangerous situations.
- Ensure that the battery terminals are clean before testing, as grease and dirt can cause errors in the test results.
- Wear safety glasses when working near batteries.
- To avoid electric shock, check that the insulation layer of the battery terminals is in normal condition (not damaged, exposed, or disconnected).
- The test should be performed in a well-ventilated area. Explosive and toxic gases may be generated during testing.
- Keep hair, hands, and clothing, as well as the tester's cables, away from moving parts and belts.
- Do not keep the tester in a place accessible to children.
- Do not place the tester near the engine or exhaust pipe to avoid damage due to high temperature when the car engine is running.
- Do not smoke, ignite, or use matches near the battery during testing.
- Do not remove the battery clips during testing.
- To prevent damage to the tester, do not place it in a humid or dusty environment.
- Do not disassemble the tester, as this may damage it.

How to Start the Tester
The tester checks each battery according to the selected system standard and the parameters marked on the battery to obtain an accurate result.
Before Testing
For accurate results, the engine and all other power sources must be turned off during the test. Turn on the vehicle's headlights for 2-3 minutes until the battery voltage drops to a normal value if the battery is fully charged.
Steps
- Connect the red positive (+) alligator clip to the battery's positive (+) terminal and the black negative (-) alligator clip to the battery's negative (-) terminal. For accurate results, ensure the clips are firmly and securely attached to the battery terminals.
- Press the [up arrow] or [down arrow] buttons to select the BATTERY TYPE (marked on the battery label), then press 'ENTER'.
- Press the [up arrow] or [down arrow] buttons to select the corresponding test standard (marked on the battery label), then press 'ENTER' again.
- Press and hold the [up arrow] or [down arrow] buttons, then select the battery EDC/CCA values (marked on the battery label or in the EDC/CCA parameter table).
- Press 'ENTER' to start the battery test.
- Test results are displayed, showing: SOH (State of Health), R (Internal Resistance), SOC (State of Charge), VOLT (Battery Voltage), and EDC/CCA (Estimated Discharge Current / Cold Cranking Amps).
Final Test Results
Result | Description |
---|---|
PERFECT | Ideal battery lifespan, SOH ≥ 90% |
GOOD | Good battery life, SOH ≥ 75% |
BAD | Poor battery durability, SOH ≥ 50% |
REPLACE | Battery is discharged, SOH < 50% |
RECHARGE | Test the battery again after charging |
Clip is poorly connected to the battery terminal |
