3. Connection Diagram

Method 1:

Connect the input power (100-240V~ L/N) to the dimmer's input terminals. Connect a PUSH switch to the input side of the dimmer. Connect the output load (100-240V~) to the dimmer's output terminals. This setup is for Triac dimming LED lights, filament lamps, and Halogen lamps.

Method 2:

Similar to Method 1, connect the input power (100-240V~ L/N) to the dimmer's input terminals. Connect a PUSH switch to the input side of the dimmer. Connect the output load (100-240V~) to the dimmer's output terminals. This setup is for Triac dimming LED lights, filament lamps, and Halogen lamps.

Attention

Please check and ensure that all cables are correctly connected before turning on the device, otherwise, the dimmer may be damaged.

"Breaker mode" is activated or shut down

Attention: This mode only supports turning the light ON/OFF; users cannot dim the device once this mode is activated.

To Activate Breaker Mode (ON): Short press the "LINK" button 5 times quickly. The mode is activated, and the indicator blinks 3 times quickly.

To Deactivate Breaker Mode (OFF): Short press the "LINK" button 5 times quickly. The mode is shut down, and the indicator flashes 3 times slowly.

For APP ON/OFF functionality, refer to page 13.

4. PUSH Dimming

Short press PUSH switch: Turns the light ON/OFF.

Long press PUSH switch:

• Provides stepless dimming brightness.
• Long press and release your finger, then repeat long pressing to increase or decrease brightness.
• If multiple dimmers are connected to the same self-return switch, long press the switch for 20 seconds until all lights reach the same brightness at 100% level. The quantity of dimmers connected to the same self-return switch should not exceed 25 pieces, and the connection cable length should not exceed 20m.

5. Remote control instruction

5.1. Link remote

For K1 remote:

1. Learning code:
   • Way 1: Short press the "LINK" button once.
   • Way 2: Power off the dimmer for 10 seconds and then power it on again.
   • Way 3: Short press the Push switch (ON-OFF).
2. Press the "SET" button 3 times within 3 seconds. Linking is done once the light flashes 3 times slowly.

For other remote:

1. Learning code:
2. Press the "I" (ON) button in the group zones 3 times within 3 seconds. Linking is done once the light flashes 3 times slowly.

5.2. Unlink with remote

For K1 remote:

1. Learning code:
2. Press the "SET" button 5 times within 3 seconds. Unlinking is done once the light flashes 10 times quickly.

For other remote:

1. Learning code:
2. Press the "I" (ON) button in the group zones 5 times within 3 seconds. Unlinking is done once the light flashes 10 times quickly.

5.4. Auto transmitting

One dimmer can transmit signals from the remote control to another dimmer within 30m. As long as there is a light within 30m, the remote control distance can be limitless.

Attention: All dimmers must be linked with the same remote.

6. Set up min brightness

6.1. Set up min brightness with " SET " button

Short press the "SET" button to cycle through 10 brightness levels: 3%, 5%, 7%, 9%, 12%, 17%, 22%, 28%, 34%, 40%.

6.2. Set up min brightness with remote

Note: This function requires pairing with a remote first.

For K1 remote:

1. Long press the "SET" button for 3 seconds until the indicator flashes once, entering the flashing status.
2. Short press the "SET" button to select one of the 10 brightness levels: 3%, 5%, 7%, 9%, 12%, 17%, 22%, 28%, 34%, 40%.
3. Short press the rotating button to confirm the setting, or wait for 10 seconds for automatic confirmation. The light will recover to the previous brightness level.

For other remote:

1. Long press the "OFF" button on the remote or the "O" button on the zone until the light flashes once, entering the flashing status.
2. Short press the "OFF" button on the remote or the "O" button on the zone to set up one of the 10 different brightness levels (3%, 5%, 7%, 9%, 12%, 17%, 22%, 28%, 34%, 40%).

Short press any button except "OFF" to confirm the setting, or wait for 10 seconds for automatic confirmation. The light will recover brightness to the previous level.

Attention: The Master OFF button can set the lowest brightness for all connected dimmers.

7. Smartphone APP control instruction

Network Configuration: (Does not support 5G routers)

7.1. Download and install [Tuya Smart] app

Search for "[Tuya Smart]" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or scan the provided QR code (QR code excluded from output) to download and install the app. Open the app and click "Register" to create an account if it's your first time. Log in directly if you already have an account.

7.2. Pairing Network

1. Connect the device to a power supply.
2. Pairing network: (Note: Factory default is pairing network)
   • Way 1: Long press the "LINK" button for about 3 seconds until the indicator flashes quickly.
   • Way 2: Long press the push switch for 10 seconds while the light is OFF status (requires wiring with a Push switch).
   • Way 3: Disconnect power, then reconnect power 3 times.
3. Connect your phone to your home WiFi network using the 2.4GHz frequency.
4. Open the app homepage and click the "+" button in the upper right corner.
5. Click "Lighting" on the left side of the page, then click "Light Source (BLE+Wi-Fi)".
6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the configuration.

7.3. App set up lowest brightness

If the light turns off when dimming to 1%, increase the lowest brightness setting.

Setting way:

1. Click "Settings" in the APP.
2. Move the slider to finish setting.

App Interface Description: Shows a dimmer control screen with brightness percentage and a settings icon. Another screen shows a "Breaker Mode" toggle and a minimum brightness slider labeled "Set the minimum brightness of the dimmer". Instructions advise increasing minimum brightness if flickering or light goes out.

7.4. Breaker Mode (ON/OFF)

Attention: This mode only supports turning the light ON/OFF; users cannot dim the device once this mode is activated.

Setting way:

1. Click "Settings" in the APP.
2. Click the toggle button next to "Breaker Mode".

App Interface Description: Shows a dimmer control screen with brightness percentage and a settings icon. Another screen shows a "Breaker Mode" toggle switch.

8. Alexa voice control instruction

Please add the device into the [Tuya Smart] app first (check details in page 10), then follow these steps:

1. Open the Alexa App.
2. Click "More" on the bottom right corner.
3. Click "Skills & Games".
4. Click the search icon (magnifying glass symbol) ? on the top right corner.
5. Type "Smart life" and search.
6. Click the "Smart life" skill, follow the instructions to finish configuration, and start voice control.

App Interface Description: Shows navigation within the Alexa app, including "More", "Skills & Games", and the search interface for "Smart life".

9. Google Home voice control instruction

Please add the device into the [Tuya Smart] app first (check details in page 10), then follow these steps:

1. Open the Google Home App.
2. Click the "+" icon on the top left corner.
3. Click "Set up device".
4. Click "Works with Google".
5. Click the search icon (magnifying glass symbol) ? on the top right corner.
6. Type "Smart life" and search.
7. Click the "Smart life" skill, follow the instructions to finish configuration, and start voice control.

App Interface Description: Shows navigation within the Google Home app, including adding a device, setting it up, and linking services via "Works with Google".

10. Attention

1. Please turn off the power supply before installation.
2. Please ensure the input voltage matches the device requirements.
3. Do not disassemble the device if you are not an expert, as it may cause damage.
4. Please avoid using the light in areas with a wide metal surface or strong electromagnetic waves nearby, as this can significantly affect the remote control distance.
