Connection Diagram

Two connection diagrams are provided, illustrating the wiring for the TRI-K1WR dimmer. Both diagrams show input as AC100-240V and output as AC100-240V, suitable for Triac dimming LED lights, traditional filament lamps, and halogen lamps. The diagrams indicate connections for Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires for both input and output.

Installation Diagram

The installation involves two steps:

1. Fix the controller base onto the bottom case using screws.
2. Click the upper side of the glass panel onto the controller base, then press the lower side slightly to secure it into the controller base.

Remote Link

To link the Triac dimmer with a remote control:

1. Short press the "SET" button once for remote linking.
2. Alternatively, short press the "|" button 3 times within 3 seconds.

A successful link is indicated by the light flashing 3 times slowly. If the light does not flash, repeat the steps. Note: Linking cannot be done again if the remote has already finished linking.

Functional Description

The dimmer features a rotary knob for brightness adjustment. A short press of the knob turns the light on/off. Pressing and holding the knob for 5 seconds allows setting the minimum brightness, after which the knob can be turned to adjust the brightness value, and a short press exits the setting mode.

"Breaker mode"

This mode allows only on/off functionality; dimming is not supported. To activate, short press the "SET" button 5 times quickly; the indicator will blink 3 times quickly. To deactivate, short press the "SET" button 5 times quickly; the indicator will flash 3 times slowly.

Auto transmitting (2.4G RF remote signal)

The controller can automatically transmit remote signals to other controllers within a 30m distance, effectively creating an unlimited control range. It is important that all controllers are linked with the same remote.

Compatible with 2.4G RF Remote Controls

The TRI-K1WR dimmer is compatible with various MiBoxer 2.4G RF remote controls, including models C1, C3, Y1, Y2, FUT094, FUT006, FUT007, FUT087/FUT087-B, B1/B1-B/T1, B2/T2, K1/K1-B, K2/K2-B, K3, S1W+.

APP Add Instructions

Network Configuration

Note: Does not support 5G router.

1. Download and install the [Tuya Smart] app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Open the app and click "Register" to create an account, or log in if you already have one.
3. Long press the "SET" button for 3 seconds for WiFi pairing until the indicator flashes quickly.
4. Open the app's homepage and click the "+" button in the upper right corner.
5. Select "Lighting" from the left-side menu, then choose "Light Source (BLE+Wi-Fi)".
6. Follow the app prompts to complete the configuration.

Voice Control Instructions

Alexa Voice Control

1. Ensure the device is added to the [Tuya Smart] app.
2. Open the Alexa App.
3. Tap "More" on the bottom right corner.
4. Select "Skills & Games".
5. Tap the search icon (magnifying glass) at the top right.
6. Type "Smart life" and search.
7. Select the "Smart Life" skill and follow the instructions to finish configuration and enable voice control.

Google Home Voice Control

1. Ensure the device is added to the [Tuya Smart] app.
2. Open the Google Home App.
3. Tap the "+" icon on the top left corner.
4. Select "Set up device".
5. Choose "Works with Google".
6. Tap the search icon (magnifying glass) at the top right.
7. Type "Smart life" and search.
8. Select the "Smart Life" skill and follow the instructions to finish configuration and enable voice control.

Attention

1. Turn off the power supply before installation.
2. Ensure the input voltage matches the device requirements.
3. Do not disassemble the device if you are not an expert, as it may cause damage.
4. Avoid using the light in areas with large metal surfaces or strong electromagnetic waves, as this can significantly affect the remote control distance.
