Overview
The Lexon Minut LR154 is a digital alarm clock designed by Manuela Simonelli & Andrea Quaglio.
Device Components (Diagram A & B)
The device features a clear LED display showing the time, alarm status, and battery level. Key interaction points include:
- [touch surface]: Tap once to snooze or turn on the display, double tap to stop the alarm.
- [display]: Shows time, time setting mode, alarm setting mode, brightness mode, battery indicator, alarm ON status, and AM/PM indicator.
- [alarm setting]: Button for setting the alarm.
- [time setting]: Button for setting the time.
- [brightness setting]: Button for adjusting display brightness.
- [-] [+]: Adjustment keys for time, alarm, or brightness.
- [power]: Power ON/OFF key.
- [USB-C port]: Located at the back for charging.
Charging Instructions
It is recommended to fully charge the battery before first use.
- Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the device's charging port.
- Connect the USB end to a powered-on computer or a 5V USB power adapter (not included).
- A charging icon will appear on the LCD screen. Full charge takes approximately 3 hours.
A flashing battery icon indicates low battery when not plugged in. The LED display stays on permanently when plugged in; otherwise, it activates upon touching the top surface for 5 seconds, dims for 15 seconds, then enters standby.
Operations & Use
First Time Setting
- Press and hold the [power] key for 3 seconds to turn on.
- Select time format (12h/24h) using [-]/[+] keys, then confirm with [time setting].
- Adjust HOUR using [-]/[+], confirm with [time setting].
- Adjust MINUTES using [-]/[+], confirm with [time setting].
Night Mode
Night mode is active only when plugged in. Press the [brightness setting] key once to enable/disable. When enabled, the brightness icon is displayed. The screen turns black from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM for a better sleeping environment.
Normal Mode (Time Setting)
- Press and hold the [time setting] key for 2 seconds to enter time setting mode.
- Select time format (12h/24h) using [-]/[+], confirm with [time setting].
- Adjust HOUR using [-]/[+], confirm with [time setting].
- Adjust MINUTES using [-]/[+], confirm with [time setting].
Alarm Setting
- Press and hold the [alarm setting] key for 2 seconds to enter alarm setting mode.
- Adjust HOUR using [-]/[+], confirm with [alarm setting].
- Adjust MINUTES using [-]/[+], confirm with [alarm setting].
If no operation occurs for 10 seconds, the device returns to time display.
Alarm Actions
- Stop Alarm (Diagram C): When the alarm sounds, [double tap] the top surface or press any button.
- Snooze Alarm (Diagram D): Gently [single tap] the top surface once. The alarm will sound again after 6 minutes.
- Check Alarm Time: Press the [alarm setting] key once.
- Disable Alarm: Press the [alarm setting] key once to view the alarm time, press again to disable. The alarm icon will disappear. Repeat to re-enable.
Brightness Setting
- Press and hold the [brightness setting] key to enter brightness setting mode.
- Adjust brightness level using [-]/[+], confirm with [brightness setting].
Other Operations
- Backlight: Tap the top surface at night to illuminate the screen.
- Low Battery Alert: The last battery bar flashes when the battery level drops below 10%. Plug in to charge.
- Reset Mode: Press and hold the [-] and [+] keys simultaneously until a beep is heard to reset the device.
