Key Operation Instruction

4.1 Power On/Off

To power off: When the controller is working normally, press and hold the '▲' and '▼' keys simultaneously for 3 seconds. All displays and outputs will turn off.

To power on: When the controller is powered off, press and hold the '▲' and '▼' keys simultaneously for 1 second to enter normal measuring mode.

4.2 Enquiry Differential Value

When the controller is working normally, short press the '▲' key once to display the humidification differential (HD). Short press the '▼' key once to display the dehumidification differential (DD). After two seconds, the display returns to the normal humidity mode.

4.3 Enquiry Measuring Temperature

Press the '▲' and '▼' keys simultaneously. The current temperature value will be displayed on the PV screen. Release the keys after 2 seconds to return to the normal display mode.

4.4 How to Set Parameters

When the controller is working normally, press and hold the 'SET' key for 3 seconds to enter parameter setting mode. The PV screen displays the first menu code “HS”, while the SV screen displays the current setting value. Press the '▲' key to page down through the menu codes. Press the '▼' key to change the current parameter values.

After finishing settings, press and hold the 'SET' key for 3 seconds in any status to save the parameter settings and return to the normal humidity display mode. If there is no operation for 10 seconds during setting, the system will automatically quit the menu and return to the normal display mode without saving the parameter modifications.

4.5 Setup Flow Chart

To enter setup mode, press and hold the 'SET' key for over 3 seconds. The controller then enters a sequence of parameter settings: Humidity Set Value (HS), Humidification Differential Value (HD), Dehumidification Differential Value (DD), Alarm High Humidity Set Value (AH), Alarm Low Humidity Set Value (AL), Delay Protection Value (PT), and Humidity Calibration (CA). Each setting is accessed by pressing 'SET'. After setting 'CA', press and hold 'SET' for 3 seconds to save and return to normal working mode.

Menu Instruction

Menu Code Function Setting Range Default Unit Remarks
HS Humidity Set Value 5~99 50 % RH 5.1
HD Humidification Differential Value 1~20 5 % RH 5.1
DD Dehumidification Differential Value 1~20 5 % RH 5.1
AH Alarm High Humidity Set Value 50~99 99 % RH 5.2
AL Alarm Low Humidity Set Value 0~50 0 % RH 5.2
PT Delay Protection Value 0~10 1 minute 5.3
CA Humidity Calibration -10~10 0 % 5.4

5.1 Temperature Control Range Setting (HS, HD, DD)

When the controller is working normally, the LED displays the current measured humidity. It then automatically starts recognizing and translating humidifying and dehumidifying actions.

When the measured humidity PV ≥ HS (Humidity Set Value) + DD (Dehumidification Differential Value), the controller enters dehumidification status. The dehumidification indicator lamp turns on, and the dehumidification relay works. When the dehumidification indicator light is flickering, the dehumidifying equipment is in delay protection status. When the measured humidity PV ≤ HS (Humidity Set Value), the dehumidification indicator lamp turns off, and the dehumidification relay stops working.

When the measured humidity PV ≤ HS (Humidity Set Value) - HD (Humidification Differential Value), the controller enters humidification status. The humidification indicator lamp turns on, and the humidification relay works. When the measured humidity PV ≥ HS (Humidity Set Value), the humidification indicator lamp turns off, and the humidification relay stops working.

5.2 Alarm High/Low Limit Setting (AH, AL)

When the measured humidity PV ≥ AH (Alarm High Humidity Set Value) or the measured humidity PV ≤ AL (Alarm Low Humidity Set Value), an alarm sounds ("BI-BI-BIII"). The current value, AH, or AL will display on the PV screen. The alarm sound can be stopped by pressing any key, but the alarm status will not change until the measured humidity returns to the normal range.

5.3 Compressor Delay (PT)

Under dehumidification mode, after power on, if the measured humidity PV ≥ HS (Humidity Set Value) + DD (Dehumidification Differential Value), the equipment will not start dehumidification immediately but will wait for a preset delay time.

If the time interval between two dehumidification operations (or the time from power on to dehumidify) is larger than the preset delay, the equipment will start dehumidification immediately. If the time interval is less than the preset delay, the equipment will not start dehumidification until the preset delay is satisfied.

The delay time is calculated right after the moment dehumidification stops.

5.4 Humidity Calibration (CA)

When there is a deviation between the measured humidity and the actual humidity, use the humidity calibration function to align them. The corrected humidity is equal to the humidity before calibration plus the corrected value (the corrected value can be positive, zero, or negative).

Error Description

Sensor fault alarm ⚠️

When the humidity sensor is in a short circuit or open loop, the controller will initiate a sensor fault mode and cancel all actions. The buzzer will alarm, and the LED will display "ER". The buzzer alarm can be dismissed by pressing any key. After the faults are solved, the system will return to normal working mode.
