3. Appearance and Controls

The device features a dual LED display and several control buttons. It also includes indicator lights for humidification and dehumidification.

Device Components

Socket Types

The device is compatible with various socket types, including US, EU, UK, and AU standards, allowing for flexible connection of humidification and dehumidification equipment.

4. Operations

4.1 Power On/Off

To turn off the controller in normal operation mode, simultaneously press and hold the 'SET', '▲', and '▼' buttons for 3 seconds. To turn on the controller and enter normal measurement mode, simultaneously press and hold 'SET', '▲', and '▼' for 1 second.

4.2 Requesting Stored Data

In normal operation mode, briefly press the '▲' button to display the set humidity differential for humidification (HD). Briefly press the '▼' button to display the set humidity differential for dehumidification (DD). The screen will return to normal data display after 2 seconds.

4.3 Requesting Temperature Measurement

In normal operation mode, simultaneously press and hold '▲' and '▼' for 1 second. The current temperature will be displayed on the PV screen. The screen will return to normal data display after 2 seconds.

4.4 Parameter Settings

To enter parameter setting mode from normal operation, press and hold the 'SET' button for over 3 seconds. The 'SET' indicator will turn on. The PV screen will show the menu code (e.g., 'HS'), and the SV screen will show the setting value. Use the '▲' or '▼' buttons to adjust the value. Press 'SET' to move to the next menu item. After completing all settings, press and hold 'SET' for 3 seconds to save changes and return to normal mode. If no operation is performed for 10 seconds, the system will exit setting mode without saving.

4.5 Setting Flowchart

The setting process is navigated using the 'SET', '▲', and '▼' buttons. After initiating the setting mode by holding 'SET' for over 3 seconds, you can cycle through and adjust parameters:

After adjusting the 'CA' parameter and pressing 'SET', the system returns to the 'Working State' or normal operation mode.

6. Parameter Settings Details

5.1 Humidity Control Range Setting (HS, HD, DD)

When the controller operates normally, the LED display shows the current measured humidity and automatically determines and switches between humidification and dehumidification modes.

When measured humidity PV ≥ HS (set humidity value) + DD (dehumidification differential value), the system enters dehumidification mode, the dehumidification indicator light turns on, and the dehumidification relay starts working. If the dehumidification indicator flashes, it means the dehumidification equipment is in a set pause mode to protect the compressor. When measured humidity PV ≤ HS (set humidity value), the dehumidification indicator turns off, and the dehumidification relay stops working.

When measured humidity PV ≤ HS (set humidity value) - HD (humidification differential value), the system enters humidification mode, the humidification indicator light turns on, and the humidification relay starts working. When measured humidity PV ≥ HS (set humidity value), the humidification indicator turns off, and the humidification relay stops working.

5.2 Upper / Lower Audible Alarm Limit Setting (AH, AL)

When measured humidity PV ≥ AH or PV ≤ AL, the high/low humidity audible alarm will trigger. The device will emit a 'bi-bi-Biii' tone until the humidity becomes lower than AH / higher than AL, or until any key is pressed.

5.3 Compressor Delay Setting (PT)

In dehumidification mode, after power on, if the measured humidity PV ≥ HS (set humidity value) + DD (dehumidification differential value), the equipment will not start dehumidifying immediately until the set delay time has passed. If the time interval between two dehumidification operations exceeds the set delay, the equipment will start dehumidifying immediately. If the time interval between two dehumidification periods is less than the set delay, the equipment will not start dehumidifying until the set delay is completed. The delay timer starts counting immediately after dehumidification stops.

5.4 Humidity Calibration (CA)

If there is a difference between the measured humidity and the actual humidity, use the humidity calibration function to align the measured humidity value with the actual humidity. The corrected humidity is equal to the humidity before calibration plus the corrected value (the corrected value can be a positive value, 0, or a negative value).

7. Possible Malfunctions

Sensor Malfunction Alarm

When the humidity sensor is short-circuited or open-circuited, the controller will activate the sensor malfunction mode and cancel all actions. The device will emit an audible signal, and the LED will display 'ER'. The audible alarm can be turned off by pressing any key. After the malfunction is resolved, the system will return to normal operating mode.
