This document provides instructions for the Step2 Duck Pond Water Table (Model 8427). It is designed for children aged 1.5 years and up.

Important Warnings
⚠ Burn Hazard
- Always check the temperature of the product before letting your children play with it.
- Remember that the product may cause burns if left in direct sunlight.
- Always be aware of the sun and weather conditions, and do not assume that the equipment is safe because the air temperature is not very high.
⚠ Drowning Hazard
- There is a risk of young children drowning around open containers of water. Adult supervision is always required.
Safety Information
- Provide continuous adult supervision at all times.
- Instruct children not to use the product until properly assembled.
- The table holds up to 4 gallons (15 liters) of water.
- Table legs are not removable. Attempting to remove legs can cause damage to the product.
- Take the product indoors or do not use when the temperature drops below 32°F (0°C).
Cleaning Instructions
General Cleaning:
- Use a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water.
- Water should be changed frequently.
- Sanitize occasionally to remove organic debris and prevent bacterial growth.
Disposal Instructions
- Please recycle when possible. Disposal must be in compliance with all government regulations.
Assembly Instructions
Inspect this product before each use. Tightly secure connections and replace damaged or worn components. Contact The Step2 Company for replacement parts.

- Step 1: Attach part C1 (a screw with a spring mechanism) to part B (a pump accessory).
- Step 2: Insert part C1 through the designated hole in part A (the main water table basin) and attach it to the underside.
- Step 3: Align part C3 (a washer/seal) with part C1 and press it into place on part A. A checkmark symbol indicates correct placement. An incorrect placement symbol (cross mark) is also shown.
- Step 4: Secure part C1 by screwing it into part A, with C3 in place. Arrows indicate a tightening motion.
- Step 5: Insert part C2 (a drain plug or stopper) into the hole with part C1 already installed on part A.
- Step 6: Attach part B (pump accessory) to part A. The word "Snap" is shown, indicating a snapping action. This step is to be repeated for the other two legs (implied by the diagram showing B attached to A, and the text "Repeat steps 6 to other 2 legs" on page 4).
- Step 7: (This step is implied by the repetition instruction on page 4). Repeat Step 6 for the remaining two legs.
- Step 8: Attach part J (a spinning water wheel component) to part G (a base structure for accessories).
- Step 9: Attach part E (a vertical support piece) to part H (a base piece with holes).
- Step 10: Attach part F (another vertical support piece) to part H, then place part E onto part F.
- Step 11: Attach part D (a slide component) to the assembled structure of E, F, and H.
- Step 12: The slide (D) is now attached to the main structure (E, F, H).
- Step 13: Attach part I (a spinning feature) to the center of part A/G. Attach part K (a scooping tool) to the side of the assembled table.
