The UNOslim device features a display showing IAQ Sensor Type, IAQ Sensor Reading, and IAQ Parameter Unit. It also includes a Power LED and a Hardware Reset button.
Getting Started
The UNOslim device has the following components:
- IAQ Sensor Type: Displays the type of air quality sensor.
- IAQ Sensor Reading: Shows the measured air quality value.
- IAQ Parameter Unit: Indicates the unit of the air quality measurement.
- Power LED: Indicates the power status.
- Hardware Reset: Button for resetting the device.
- Power Adapter Hole: For connecting a power adapter.
- V+, V- Direct Wiring: Terminal for power input (12-24VDC or 24VAC).
- A+, B- RS-485: Terminals for RS-485 communication.
- NO (Normally Open) Switch Terminal: For switch input.
- COM (Contact Type) Terminal: Common terminal for switch input.
- NC (Normally Closed) Switch Terminal: For switch input.
UNO NFC App
The UNOslim is equipped with NFC technology for intuitive device setup and configuration. The UNO NFC App allows users to view system information, calibrate sensors, initiate firmware updates, and configure communication protocols. The app is available on iOS App Store, Android Google Play, and as an Android APK.
Installation
The UNOslim can be mounted on a concrete wall, drywall, or an electrical box. Input power must be less than 100W. Use a CE certified power adapter with specifications: 12VDC/1A or 24VAC/0.5A (50/60Hz). Ensure the power plug dimensions match requirements.
Mounting Options
The device can be installed using different junction box types:
- 118 Type 1-gang Junction Box: Standard single-gang box.
- 86 Type Square Junction Box: Common square junction box.
- ABB HAF Hafobox Junction Box: Specific junction box model.
Wiring
Connect wires to the terminal plug. Ensure correct polarity for power. The terminals include:
- Power Supply: Choose either a DC adapter via the power adapter hole or DC source via the V+, V- terminal plug (12-24VDC or 24VAC). Do not use both simultaneously.
- RS-485 Communication: Connect to A+ and B- terminals.
- Switch Input: Connect to NO, COM, or NC terminals as required for the switch type.
Detailed wiring diagrams are provided for different junction box types, showing the connection of wires to the terminal plug.
