Manual Push-Switch Function
The dimmer module includes a manual push-switch for user control:
- Short Push (<1s): Toggles permanent on/off.
- Long Push (>1s): Adjusts the brightness level.
Notes:
- Adjustments made via the app and the push switch can overwrite each other; the last adjustment is retained in memory.
- App control is synchronized with the manual switch.
- The "S" terminals can be left unconnected if manual control is not required.

Configuration Instructions
STEP 1: Download App and Register
- Download the Tuya Smart, Homcloud, or SmartLife app from Google Play/App Store, or scan the provided QR codes.
- Register an account using your country code and phone number/email.
- Enter the verification code received via email or text message and set a password (6-20 alphanumeric characters).
STEP 2: Dimmer Module Configuration
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and launch the App.
- Refer to the "wiring instructions" if not already done.
- Turn off the power to the dimmer module. Press and hold the manual push switch for 10 seconds until the connected light flickers rapidly, indicating it has entered configuration mode. (If you wait longer than 120 seconds, repeat this step).
- Keep your smartphone close (approx. 30cm) to the dimmer switch and tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon on the App homepage. Select "Smart Switch" from the Wi-Fi devices list.
- Tap "Confirm indicator rapidly blinks".
- Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password.
- Wait for the configuration to complete and tap "Done".
- Optionally, rename the smart dimmer module and assign it to a room.
STEP 3: Connect to Google Home and Alexa
Download and install the Google Home or Amazon Alexa App for voice control. Link your "Smart Life" account within the Google Home or Amazon Alexa App to enable voice commands.
FAQ
- Cannot configure dimmer module: Check power, ensure mobile and module are on the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, verify internet connection, confirm correct Wi-Fi password, and check wiring.
- Compatible lights: Primarily Triac LED lights, incandescent, and halogen lamps.
- Wi-Fi goes off: The light can still be controlled via the traditional switch. The device will automatically reconnect to Wi-Fi when the network is active again.
- Changing Wi-Fi network/password: Re-connect the dimmer module to the new network following the App's user manual instructions.
- Resetting the device: Turn off the light connected to the module. Press and hold the manual switch for 10 seconds or more until the light connected to the module flickers rapidly, entering configuration mode.
