Product Overview
The Wi-Fi Curtain Module allows for intelligent control of curtains, shutters, and blinds through a mobile app and voice assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. It supports both Wi-Fi and RF433 connectivity (MS-108WR model).

Installation and Wiring
Warnings:
- Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations.
- Keep the device out of the reach of children.
- Keep the device away from water, damp or hot environment.
- Install the device away from strong signal sources such as microwave ovens that may cause signal interruption.
- Obstruction by concrete walls or metallic materials may reduce the effective operation range and should be avoided.
- Do NOT attempt to disassemble, repair or modify the device.
Wiring Diagram:
1. With curtain switch: Connect the Live (L), Neutral (N), and Earth wires to the corresponding terminals on the module. Connect the motor wires to the module's output terminals.
2. Without switch: Connect the Live (L), Neutral (N), and Earth wires to the corresponding terminals on the module. Connect the motor wires to the module's output terminals.
Insert the module into the junction box. Connect the power supply and follow the configuration instructions.
Notes: Put your smartphone close to the curtain switch module when configuring, and ensure at least 50% Wi-Fi signal.
Wi-Fi Link Method
Method one (New Updated):
- Ensure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Open the Smart Life/Tuya App, click "+", and then click "Go to add".
- Select the device you want to add.
- Enter Wi-Fi password and click "Next" to complete the connection.
- Add the device successfully and edit its name.
Method two (Traditional Pairing):
- Press the reset button for more than 7 seconds until the indicator flashes rapidly (Di-Di-Di...) to enter Wi-Fi pairing mode.
- Open the App, select "+" on the top right, and choose "Switch (Wi-Fi)" to add the device.
- Make sure your smartphone and the module are on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Confirm the indicator blinks rapidly (twice a second).
The connection process takes about 10-120 seconds depending on your network condition.
RF Link Method (MS-108WR only)
To pair with an RF433 remote control switch:
- Press the reset button 5 times for the open button.
- Press the reset button 6 times for the close button.
- Press the reset button 7 times for the stop button.
Wait for 2 seconds after each sequence until the indicator flashes fast.
Reset Method
- To reset Wi-Fi method: Press the reset button for more than 7 seconds.
- To clear RF mode: Press the reset button for 10 times.
Manual Override
The curtain switch module terminal allows for manual override. You can switch the curtains on or off permanently using the manual switch. Both app and switch adjustments are synchronized, and the last adjustment remains in memory.
Multi-control Association
This feature allows multiple switches to control the same light.
- Add another smart switch to the Smart Life/Tuya App.
- Select the "Main Switch" in the app.
- Go to "Multi-Control Association" and click "+".
- Choose the switch and the button to associate.
- You can now control your light with multiple switches. Do not associate another button in the same switch for multi-control.

- Q1: Does this work with Google Home?
- Yes, it is also compatible with Alexa.
- Q2: Do I need to buy a hub?
- No hub is required for the module.
- Q3: Can I control the module with my own remote controller?
- The MS-108WR model is RF433 built-in and works with RF433 remote control switches with 1527 encoding.
- Q4: Shall I buy a smart curtain switch to work with this module?
- No, you can connect the module to your traditional curtain switch to make it smart.
- Q5: What should I do if I can't configure the curtain module?
- Check if the device is powered on, if your mobile and module are on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, if internet conditions are good, if the password entered in the App is correct, and if the wiring is correct.
- Q6: Which products can I control with the device?
- Curtains, shutters, blinds, etc.
- Q7: What happens if the Wi-Fi goes off?
- You can still control the device with your traditional curtain switch. The module will reconnect automatically when Wi-Fi is active again.
- Q8: What should I do if I change the Wi-Fi network or password?
- Reconnect the module to the Wi-Fi network according to the App User Manual.
