Product Overview

This manual provides instructions for the Tuya Wi-Fi Curtain Module (QS-WIFI-C01), enabling smart control of curtains, shutters, and blinds via a mobile app and voice assistants.

Installation Guide

Important Warnings:

• Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations.
• Keep the device out of reach of children.
• Keep the device away from water, damp, or hot environments.
• Install the device away from strong signal sources (e.g., microwave ovens) that may cause signal interruption.
• Avoid obstruction by concrete walls or metallic materials, as this may reduce the effective operation range.
• Do NOT attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device.

Wiring Instructions:

1. Turn off the power supply before electrical installation.
2. Connect wires according to the wiring diagram.
3. Insert the module into the junction box.
4. Connect the power supply and follow configuration instructions.

Notes:

• Ensure your smartphone is close to the Curtain module during configuration.
• Maintain a minimum of 50% Wi-Fi signal strength.

Setup and Configuration

App Setup:

1. Log in or register an account using your mobile number or email address in the Tuya Smart app.
2. Enter the verification code sent to your mobile or email, then set your login password. Click "Create Family" to enter the app.
3. After wiring, press the traditional switch to cycle ON/OFF 5 times, or press the reset key for approximately 10 seconds until a beep sound is heard continuously, indicating pairing mode.
4. In the app, tap "+" to add a device, select "Electrical", then "Curtain Switch".
5. Ensure your smartphone and the Wi-Fi curtain module are on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Confirm when the beep sound is continuous for pairing mode.
6. Pairing may take 10-120 seconds depending on network conditions. The Wi-Fi curtain will appear in the app upon completion.

Manual Override:

• The module supports manual override via a connected wall push-button.
• Single pressing the "down" or "up" button will move the roller shutter in the desired direction to its end position.
• If the shutter moves in the opposite direction, select "motor reversal" in the "More" option within the app.
• Pressing the "up" button while moving up will stop the shutter immediately. Pressing the "down" button while moving down will stop the shutter immediately.

Notes on Manual Override:

• App adjustments and manual switch adjustments can overwrite each other; the last adjustment is saved.
• App control is synchronized with the manual switch.

Voice Control and Sharing

Connect to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for voice control. Share device access with family or friends through the app.

• Q3: What happens if the Wi-Fi goes off?
  You can still control the device with your traditional curtain switch. The module will automatically reconnect to your Wi-Fi network when it becomes active again.

  Reconnect the module to the new Wi-Fi network following the App User Manual.
• Q5: How do I reset the device?
  Power the device on/off 5 times or press the reset key for about 10 seconds until the beeper sounds continuously.
