This manual provides instructions for the Tuya Smart Wi-Fi Curtain Module (MS-108 and MS-108WR).

Installation and Wiring
Important Warnings:
- Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician.
- Keep the device away from children, water, and hot environments.
- Avoid installing near sources of signal interference (e.g., microwave ovens).
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device.
Wiring Diagram:
The module can be wired with or without a traditional curtain switch.
Steps:
- Turn off the power supply before installation.
- Connect wires according to the wiring diagram (refer to diagrams provided in the original document).
- Insert the module into the junction box.
- Connect the power supply and follow configuration instructions.
Note: Ensure your smartphone has at least 50% Wi-Fi signal strength when configuring the module.
App Connection and Configuration
Using the Smart Life/Tuya App:
- Download the 'Smart Life' app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Log in or register an account.
- Pairing Method 1 (New Updated):
- Ensure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Open the app, tap '+', and follow the on-screen prompts to add the device.
- Enter Wi-Fi password and wait for connection.
- Pairing Method 2 (Traditional):
- Press the reset button for more than 7 seconds until the indicator blinks rapidly.
- Open the app, tap '+', and select 'Switch (Wi-Fi)' to add the device.
- Confirm the indicator blinks rapidly and ensure your phone and module are on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- The connection process takes approximately 10-120 seconds.
- Once paired, the device will appear in the app. You can edit its name and location.
Voice Control: Connect to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant via the app for voice commands.
RF Link Method (MS-108WR Only)
This method is for pairing the MS-108WR module with an RF433 remote control switch.
- Press the reset button 5 times for the 'open' function.
- Press the reset button 6 times for the 'close' function.
- Press the reset button 7 times for the 'stop' function.
- Wait for 2 seconds after each press until the indicator flashes fast.
Multi-Control Association
This feature allows multiple switches to control the same light.
- Ensure the main switch is added to the Smart Life app.
- Add another smart switch to the same app.
- On the app, select the main switch, then navigate to 'Multi-Control Association' and tap '+'.
- Choose the switch and the button you want to associate.
- You can then control the light using multiple switches. Do not associate multiple buttons on the same switch for multi-control.

- Q1: Does this work with Google Home? A: Yes, and also with Amazon Alexa.
- Q2: Do I need a hub? A: No hub is required.
- Q3: Can I use my own remote controller? A: The MS-108WR works with RF433 remote control switches with 1527 encoding.
- Q4: Do I need a smart curtain switch? A: No, you can connect the module to your traditional curtain switch.
- Q5: What if I can't configure the module? Check power, Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz), internet connection, password, and wiring.
- Q6: What products can I control? Curtains, shutters, blinds.
- Q7: What happens if Wi-Fi goes off? You can still use the traditional switch. The module will reconnect automatically when Wi-Fi is back.
- Q8: What if I change my Wi-Fi network or password? Reconnect the module following the App User Manual.
Manual Override
The module terminals allow for manual override. Switching on/off provides a permanent on/off function. App adjustments and manual switch actions are synchronized, with the last adjustment remembered.
