Assembly Steps
Step 1: Prepare Components
Identify all parts and hardware from the lists above.
Step 2: Attach Side Rails to Headboard/Footboard
Connect the Left Hip Bed (#3) and Right Hip Bed (#2) to the headboard section (part of #1). Use Bolts (? #A), Wooden Pegs (? #C), and the Allen Key (? #G) to secure these connections. Ensure the pegs are inserted into their corresponding holes before tightening the bolts.
Diagram Description: This page shows two main assembly stages. Stage 2 focuses on attaching the side rails (#2, #3) to the headboard section. Close-up insets detail how Bolts (#A), Wooden Pegs (#C), and the Allen Key (#G) are used to connect these pieces. The Rail (#4) is shown being positioned.
Step 3: Assemble the Bed Frame Base
Attach the Rails (#4) to the assembled side panels. Use Bolts (? #A), Wooden Pegs (? #C), and the Allen Key (? #G) for securing. The diagram shows the drawer unit (#6) being slid into place between the side panels.
Diagram Description: Stage 3 shows the drawer unit (#6) being slid into the partially assembled frame. The connection points for the side panels and rails are highlighted, indicating the use of hardware like Bolts (#A), Pegs (#C), and the Allen Key (#G).
Step 4: Secure Drawer Unit
Slide the Drawer Unit (#6) into the main bed frame. Secure it using Screws (? #E) through the pre-drilled holes on the side panels into the drawer unit.
Diagram Description: Step 4 illustrates the Drawer Unit (#6) being secured to the side panels. Close-up views show Screws (#E) being driven through the side panels into the drawer unit.
Step 5: Install Slats
Place the Slats (#5) across the bed frame. Secure each slat using Screws (? #F) into the designated spots on the side rails.
Diagram Description: Step 5 depicts the Slats (#5) being placed onto the bed frame. Close-up views show Screws (#F) used to attach the slats to the side rails.
Step 6: Attach Bookcase/Headboard
Attach the Book Case (#1) to the main bed structure. Use Bolts (? #D), Wooden Pegs (? #C), and the Allen Key (? #G) to secure it to the side panels and potentially the footboard section.
Diagram Description: Step 6 shows the Book Case (#1) being attached to the top of the assembled bed frame. Insets detail the use of Bolts (#D), Wooden Pegs (#C), and the Allen Key (#G) for this connection.
Step 7: Final Check
The bed is now assembled. The drawers can be pulled out.
Diagram Description: Step 7 presents a view of the fully assembled Reese Twin Roomsaver Bed, with the drawers extended.
Step 8: Insert Drawers
Slide the assembled drawers into their respective slots within the bed frame.
Diagram Description: Step 8 shows the drawers being inserted into the bed frame. Arrows indicate the sliding motion.
Step 9: Install Anti-Tip Kit
For safety, it is recommended to secure the bed to the wall using the provided Anti-Tip Kit. Attach Metal Plates (? #H) to the back of the bed frame using Screws (? #I). Attach the Restraint Strap (? #K) to the metal plate. Secure the other end of the strap to the wall using Screw (? #J) into a wall stud or appropriate wall anchor.
Diagram Description: Step 9 details the installation of the Anti-Tip Kit. It shows the bed against a wall, with Metal Plates (#H) attached to the bed, a Restraint Strap (#K) connecting the bed to the wall, and Screws (#I, #J) used for securing. The word "WALL" is explicitly labeled.
