Assembly Overview
Assembly Time: 30 Minutes
Recommended Persons: 1 Person
Tools Required:
- 4 mm Allen Wrench (INCLUDED)
- 4 mm Allen Drill Bit (Ensure the bit is fully seated into the bolt head before turning)
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
Recommendation: Using a power driver with the drill bit is recommended if available.
Important Notes:
- Ensure that lag bolts are started into the holes on the frame rails during assembly.
- Do not fully tighten bolts until the assembly is loosely complete.

- D) 2 - 5 1/4" x 75" Mattress Rails w/Support Cleats
- E) 3 - 3 1/2" x 38 3/4" (Twin) OR 3 - 3 1/2" x 53 3/4" (Full) Loose Slats
- F) 10 - 1¼" Wood Screws
- G) 1 – 4mm Driver for power drill

Assembly Steps
- Attach mattress rails (D) to the headboard (B) and footboard (C) using eight lag bolts. Tighten securely.
- Spread the slat roll across the bed frame from end to end. Place wood screws in the four outside corners, ensuring the slats are pushed tightly against the footboard/headboard. Place three additional loose slats into the gaps within the slat roll and secure them with wood screws. Refer to the following pages for detailed slat installation information.
- Add the appropriate thickness innerspring bunk mattress. Consult Living Spaces for specific mattress recommendations.
Slat Installation Details
When using a slat roll, three individual slats should be positioned evenly within the existing gaps and underneath the strapping before fastening.
Installation with Bunkie Board:
For installation of individual slats when using a Bunkie Board (sold separately), consult your retailer for purchase information. The diagram shows screws securing individual slats.
Installation with Slat Roll:
