Product Overview
The Marathon K35 Mini is a professional freespink (electric file) characterized by high-quality workmanship, compact dimensions, and a modern design. Its clear and intuitive control panel offers excellent operational capabilities for both experienced and beginner users. The machine is equipped with a powerful handpiece producing 2.9 Ncm of torque, achieving maximum power at 3000 RPM. The handpiece vibration is completely eliminated, and its ergonomic shape and light weight make it pleasant to use. The cutter is equipped with a TWIST-LOCK system, allowing for quick bit changes with a single movement. The device can be controlled via the base unit or a foot pedal. An optional handpiece holder can also be attached.

Inserting and Removing Cutters
- To remove a cutter: Turn the handpiece grip clockwise until it clicks, then pull the cutter out.
- To lock in a new cutter: Turn the grip counter-clockwise until it clicks.
- Keep the cutter holder and the cutter clean before reassembly.
- Warning: Do not use bent, asymmetrical, or damaged cutters. Always use standard cutters.
Caution: Opening the grip during operation will damage the machine. Changing cutters while the motor is running will damage the clutch. This damage is not covered by warranty. Cutters must be changed with the chuck open (unlocked) and the freespink switched off.

Troubleshooting
Freespink does not turn on
- Check connection - plug the freespink into the mains.
- Check if the freespink is switched on - use the on/off switch (item 5).
- Check if the foot pedal switch (item 5) is set to "Hand".
- Check if the main cable is damaged - replace the main cable (available from Activeshop).
- Check if the power cord is damaged - contact Activeshop service.
- Check if the voltage switch (item 8) is set to 220V. If it is not and the router is connected, the router is damaged - contact Activeshop service for paid repair.
Head overheats
- Check if the Twist-Lock is properly closed.
- Warning: The cutter must be changed when the freespink is switched off using the switch (item 2). Turning the speed control potentiometer (item 1) to minimum does not turn off the freespink, but only reduces its speed (which may not be visible to the naked eye). Changing cutters with the freespink on at minimum speed can cause the head to overheat and consequently damage the freespink (this is not covered by warranty).
Caution: Do not soak heads. Do not disinfect with excessive liquid. Water or disinfectant entering the head can damage it. Remove dust from the head before possible disinfection. It is recommended to maintain the head with dedicated products.
