Installation and Operation
- The plug of the motor cable must be well connected to the device body.
- The foot control switch cable plug must be well connected to the unit body.
- The appliance plug must be connected to the outlet only after making sure that all wires have been installed correctly and safely.
CAUTION: Do not connect the milling machine head to the foot drive socket. This can cause permanent damage to the milling machine. Connect the router head to the socket under the speed control knob.
Manual Operation
- Connect the head to the device.
- Turn on the device.
- Press the control mode change button. The green light should come on.
- Set the speed dial knob to minimum and then turn clockwise to get the desired speed.
- Pressing the "forward/reverse" switch will change the direction of rotation of the head.
Foot Operation
- Connect the head to the device.
- Turn on the device.
- The milling machine defaults to foot control mode. To change from manual to foot control mode, press the control mode change button.
Inserting/Extracting the Cutter
- To pull out the cutter, turn the clamp clockwise until you hear a characteristic "click" and pull out the cutter.
- To attach the cutter, turn the clamp counterclockwise until you hear a click.
- Remember to keep the clamp clean before you change the cutter.
- Make sure the cutter you want to use was not bent, asymmetrical or damaged. Always use standard cutters.
Safety Protection System: Overload/Overheat Function
- In order to protect the cutter from overheating, caused for example by the failure of ball bearings or cutter diameter, a temperature sensor is activated which will turn off the power to the machine.
- If the milling machine overheats, it will stop automatically after 5 seconds.
- Turn the device off and after about 30 seconds turn it on again.
- Overheating will be signaled by lighting the OL (Overload) lamp.
Troubleshooting

Recommended Speeds Depending on the Type of Cutter
Cutter Diameter | RPM Max |

7mm | 25000 |
10mm | 15000 |
13mm | 10000 |
Tips to Maximize the Life of the Head
- Do not use dented or damaged cutters.
- Excessive load caused by damaged cutters will quickly destroy ball bearings.
- Wash the cutter shanks before use. If grease or other substances cause a dirty cutter to get stuck on the spindle, it may cause vibration, poor spindle power, or other irregularities.
- Always insert the cutter all the way into the clamp.
NOTE: Turning the speed dial to the minimum does not turn off the cutter. To replace the cutter, turn off the milling machine using the on/off button. Replacing the cutter on a switched-on milling machine or leaving the milling machine on for several hours affects the life of the cutter head and may lead to permanent damage to the cutter head.
