This diagram also shows connections to vehicle-specific connectors: a Black 14-pin connector at the push-to-start button, a Brown 12-pin connector at the fuse box, an 86-pin connector at the junction box behind the fuse box, and a Grey 65-pin connector for the ECU under the hood.
Important Note: A loop must be cut for Automatic Transmission Mode.
THAR-ONE-SUB2 | T-HARNESS - AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: This diagram details the T-harness specific connections. It includes connections to the Keyless Access ECU (28-pin and 30-pin white connectors) and the 86-pin junction connector. It also highlights differences for Canadian vs. U.S. vehicles and indicates sections to be CUT.
Programming Procedures
DCryptor Programming Procedure
This procedure programs the module's key bypass using the DCryptor technology.
- Press and hold the programming button on the module. Connect the 6-PIN Main harness (White connector). Observe the Blue, Red, Yellow, and Blue & Red LEDs illuminating alternatively.
- Release the programming button when the LEDs turn solid BLUE and RED. If LEDs do not show solid BLUE and RED, disconnect the 6-Pin connector and restart from Step 1.
- Insert the required remaining connectors.
- Press and release the programming button six times (6x). The RED and BLUE LEDs will flash 5 times per second.
- Start the engine: Press the brake pedal, then press the Push-to-Start button once. The RED LED will flash rapidly 10 times, indicating key bypass programming is complete. Wait for the BLUE LED to flash rapidly.
- Wait for the YELLOW and RED LEDs to alternate.
- Stop the engine by pressing the Push-to-Start button once.
- Disconnect all connectors except the 6-Pin (Main-Harness) or the 4-pin Data-Link connector.
- Use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool to visit the DCryptor menu. (Parts required, not included).
- After DCryptor programming is completed, return to the vehicle and reconnect the 6-Pin (Main-Harness) or 4-pin (Data-Link) connector, followed by all other remaining connectors.
The module is now programmed.
Remote Starter Programming Procedure
Refer to the Quick Install Guide included with the module for specific remote starter programming instructions.
