Installation Steps

Step 1: Prepare the Opening

Cut a circular opening in the ceiling with a precise diameter of 69 mm (+/- 1 mm). A cutting template is typically provided to ensure accuracy.

Step 2: Insert the Fixture

Carefully insert the main body of the Miks spotlight into the prepared ceiling opening. [arrow-up]

Step 3: Secure the Fixture

Rotate the fixture to engage its internal locking mechanism or spring clips, securing it firmly within the ceiling cutout. [circular-arrow]

Step 4: Prepare the Wire Connector

The fixture is equipped with an integrated, user-friendly wire connector. Open the connector housing to access the terminals. [arrow-right]

Step 5: Connect the Wiring

Insert the mains supply wires (Live, Neutral, and Ground) into the appropriate terminals within the connector. Ensure correct polarity and secure connection.

Step 6: Close the Connector

Close the connector housing securely. The terminals are clearly marked for Live (L), Neutral (N), and Ground connections, facilitating correct wiring.

Step 7: Engage Spring Clips

The spotlight features spring-loaded clips. Push the fixture further into the ceiling opening; the clips will automatically deploy and hold the fixture in place.

Step 8: Final Connection Check

Verify that all electrical connections are secure and that the fixture is properly seated in the ceiling. A visual guide is provided, indicating the correct electrical connection (✔️) and highlighting potential incorrect connections (❌) to ensure safe operation.

Step 9: Final Installation
