Installation Steps

The following steps detail the mounting process for the Resistex Miks LED downlight.

1. Step 1: Prepare Opening

   Cut a circular opening in the ceiling with a diameter of Ø69 mm (+/- 1 mm). The fixture itself has a diameter of Ø69 mm.

2. Step 2: Insert Fixture

   Place the LED downlight into the prepared opening in the ceiling.

3. Step 3: Secure Fixture

   Rotate the fixture clockwise [?] to engage the mounting clips and secure it in place.

4. Step 4: Prepare Wiring

   Open the integrated connector block on the fixture's power cable.

5. Step 5: Open Connector Block

   The connector block has a mechanism to open and close for wire insertion.

6. Step 6: Insert Wires

   Insert the electrical supply wires (Live, Neutral) into the appropriate terminals within the connector block. Ensure correct polarity.

7. Step 7: Terminal Block Identification

   The connector block clearly labels the terminals: 'L' for Live, 'N' for Neutral, and a symbol for Earth [⏚]. Ensure wires are connected to the correct terminals.

8. Step 8: Position for Installation

   With the wires connected, the fixture's spring-loaded clips are ready to be pushed upwards to secure it against the ceiling.

9. Step 9: Final Push and Verification

   Push the fixture upwards into the ceiling. A diagram indicates correct wire connection (green checkmark ✔️) and incorrect connection (red cross ❌), emphasizing proper polarity.

10. Step 10: Installed Fixture

    The fixture is now installed flush with the ceiling surface.
