This document provides assembly instructions for the VOXNAN wash-basin mixer tap from IKEA.
The installation should be performed in accordance with industry regulations and the instructions provided.

Installation Steps
Step 1: Preparation and Sealing
Before starting installation, ensure the main water supply is turned off. Refer to page 3 for safety instructions regarding shutting off the main valve [info icon].
Seal the open surfaces of the mounting hole with silicone sealant to prevent water from penetrating the worktop in case of leaks. Silicone sealant is not included with the product.
The silicone sealant used must be water- and mould-resistant and suitable for the installation, complying with EN 15651-3, Class XS1.
The mounting hole diameter should be between 34-37 mm (1 3/8" - 1 1/2").
Step 2: Connecting Hoses
Ensure the pipe connection is flat and free from sharp edges.
Connect the flexible hoses to the water supply. Do not overtighten the connections, as this can damage the hoses, pipes, or washers [warning icon]. Refer to page 7 for correct connection methods and warnings.
Step 3: Mounting the Tap
Mount the tap through the prepared hole in the worktop. Secure it using the provided mounting hardware.
Step 4: Initial Flushing and Testing
Before first use, unscrew the aerator/flow guide with a coin. Allow water to run freely for a few minutes to flush out any debris. Then, screw the aerator/flow guide back in place until it stops. Do not overtighten.
Step 5: Final Check
Check at regular intervals to ensure the installation is not leaking [info icon].
