1. Important Safety Instructions
Hearing Protection
⚡ Hazard: To avoid hearing damage, limit the time you use the headphones at high volume and set the volume to a safe level. The higher the volume, the shorter the listening time.
Always follow these instructions when using headphones:
- Use headphones at a reasonable volume and for a reasonable duration.
- Be careful not to continuously increase the volume as your hearing adapts.
- Do not turn up the volume so high that you cannot hear your surroundings.
- Be cautious or temporarily stop using the device in potentially dangerous situations.
- Excessive sound pressure from earphones used directly in the ear and in headphones can cause hearing loss.
- Using headphones on both ears while driving is not recommended and may be illegal in some areas.
- For your safety, avoid being distracted by music or phone calls while in traffic or other potentially dangerous environments.
General Information
⚠️ Caution: To avoid damage or malfunction:
- Do not expose headphones to excessive heat.
- Do not throw away headphones.
- Headphones must not be exposed to dripping or splashing. (See IP rating for this product)
- Do not immerse headphones in water.
- Do not charge headphones if the plug or socket is wet.
- Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasives.
- Regularly clean the headphones with a clean, damp cloth – especially the sound channels and microphone holes – and avoid the accumulation of substances like sweat or earwax.
- If sweat or water droplets remain in the sound channels, air vents, or microphone holes, the sound level will temporarily drop or turn off completely. This is not a malfunction. Use a soft, damp cloth to thoroughly dry the headphones. Alternatively, remove the ear tips, turn the sound channels downwards, and gently tap the headphones about five times against a dry cloth or similar to remove any accumulated moisture inside.
- Ensure headphones are completely dry before charging and use. Avoid using disposable alcohol wipes or other cleaning agents.
- The integrated battery must not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunlight, fire, or similar.
- There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrectly. Replace the battery only with the same or an equivalent battery.
- To achieve the specific IP rating, the charging port must be closed.
- Disposing of a battery in fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting a battery, may result in an explosion.
- Leaving a battery in an environment with extremely high temperatures may result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- If the battery is replaced with an incorrect battery, there is a risk of serious damage to the headphones and battery (e.g., in the case of some types of lithium batteries).
- If the headphones are not used for a long time, the rechargeable battery will start to lose its charge. To avoid this loss, fully charge the battery at least once every three months.
- To avoid fire risk, the equipment is powered only by an external power source whose output must comply with PS1 (output capacity less than or equal to 15W).
