1 Important Safety Instructions
Hearing Safety
Danger: To prevent hearing damage, limit the time you use the headphones at high volume and set the volume to a safe level. The louder the volume, the shorter the safe listening time.
When using headphones, always follow these guidelines:
- Listen at reasonable volume levels for reasonable periods.
- Be careful not to set the volume continuously higher after your hearing has adapted.
- Do not set the volume level so high that you cannot hear what is around you.
- In potentially dangerous situations, be cautious or temporarily discontinue use.
- Excessive sound pressure from headphones can cause hearing loss.
- Using headphones that cover both ears while driving is not recommended and may be illegal in certain areas.
- For your own safety, avoid listening to music or making phone calls in traffic or other potentially dangerous environments.
General Information
Caution To prevent damage or malfunction:
- Avoid exposing the headphones to excessive heat.
- Do not drop the headphones.
- The headphones must not be exposed to dripping or splashing. (Refer to the product's IP rating.)
- Do not immerse the headphones in water.
- Do not charge the headphones if the connector or socket is wet.
- Do not use alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasive cleaners.
- Clean the headphones periodically, especially the sound outlets and microphone openings, with a clean, damp cloth, avoiding the accumulation of particles such as sweat or earwax.
- If any sweat or water droplets remain in the sound outlets, air vents, or microphone openings, the sound level will temporarily decrease or become silent permanently. This is not a malfunction. Dry the headphones carefully with a soft, damp cloth. Another way to remove any accumulated liquid is to remove the earcups, turn the sound outlets downwards, and gently tap the headphones five times on a dry cloth.
- The headphones must be completely dry before charging and use. Avoid cleaning with disposable alcohol wipes or other agents.
- For the built-in battery, avoid exposure to excessive heat (direct sunlight, open flame, etc.).
- Improper battery replacement may cause explosion. Replace the battery only with the same or equivalent type.
- To achieve the specified IP rating, close the charging port cover.
- Disposing of a battery in fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting a battery, may result in an explosion.
- Leaving a battery in an extremely high ambient temperature may result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- Leaving a battery in an extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- Replacing the battery with a different type may damage the headphones and battery (e.g., for some lithium battery types).
- If the headphones are not used for a long time, the rechargeable battery will discharge. To prevent such loss, charge the battery at least every three months.
- To prevent fire hazards, the device can only receive power from an external power source whose output complies with PS1 requirements (output power up to 15 W).
Usage and Storage Temperature and Humidity
