1 Important safety instructions

Hearing protection

Danger

• To avoid hearing damage, limit the time you use the headphones at high volume and set a safe volume level. The higher the volume, the shorter the safe listening time.

When using the headphones, follow these guidelines:

  • Set a safe volume level on the headphones and do not exceed safe listening times.
  • Do not increase the volume as your hearing adjusts to the current level.
  • Do not set the volume so high that you cannot hear what is happening around you.
  • Exercise caution or temporarily stop using the headphones in potentially dangerous situations.
  • Excessive acoustic pressure from headphones can cause hearing loss.

• Using headphones that cover both ears while driving is not recommended and may be prohibited in some regions.

• For your safety, avoid distractions such as music or phone calls when participating in traffic or other potentially dangerous situations.

General information

Avoiding damage or malfunction.

Warning

  • Protect the headphones from high temperatures.
  • Do not drop the headphones.
  • Protect the headphones from dripping water and splashes. (Check the IP rating of the specific product).
  • Do not immerse the headphones in water.
  • Do not charge the headphones if the connector or socket is wet.
  • Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasive substances.
  • To clean the headphones, use a clean, damp cloth. Pay special attention to the sound outlet and microphone openings. Clean regularly to prevent the buildup of sweat or earwax residue.
  • Leaving droplets of sweat or water on the sound outlets, ventilation openings, or microphone openings may temporarily reduce volume or cause complete silence. This is not a sign of malfunction. Dry the headphones thoroughly with a soft, damp cloth. You can also remove the earpads, turn the sound outlets downwards, and gently tap the headphones about five times over a dry cloth or similar material to remove any water inside.
  • Check that the headphones are dry before charging and using them. Avoid cleaning with disposable wipes soaked in alcohol or other substances.

• Protect the built-in battery from high temperatures, e.g., direct sunlight or fire.

• Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrectly. Replace only with the same type of battery or an equivalent.

• To maintain the specified IP rating, close the charging port cover.

• Disposing of batteries in a fire or hot oven, crushing or cutting them mechanically, may cause an explosion.

• Leaving a battery in a very high-temperature environment may cause an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

• Very low air pressure may cause the battery to explode or leak flammable liquid or gas.

• Replacing the battery with an incorrect type may cause serious damage to the headphones and battery (e.g., with certain types of lithium batteries).

• The battery of the headset that has not been used for a long time will gradually discharge. To limit this discharge, charge the battery at least once every three months.

• To prevent fire hazards, the equipment is powered solely by an external power source with an output power of PS1 (output power less than or equal to 15 W).

Temperature and humidity during operation and storage

  • Store in a location with a temperature between -20°C and 50°C, with a maximum relative humidity of 90%.
  • Use in a location with a temperature between 0°C and 45°C, with a maximum relative humidity of 90%.
  • Battery life may be shorter in conditions of high or low temperatures.
