Important Safety Notice
Read carefully before beginning assembly!
- Always use proper tools.
- Follow the assembly steps in order. Do not skip any steps.
- Check all packing materials carefully for small parts that may have come loose inside the carton during shipment. If parts are missing, contact the retailer from which you purchased the product to obtain any missing parts. DO NOT USE SUBSTITUTE PARTS.
- Periodically check to ensure that all connectors (bolts, screws, etc.) are tight.
- Keep the instructions for future reference.
- Some assembly may involve attaching glass or mirrors. Be very careful handling the glass or mirrors, as severe injury may result if the glass or mirror breaks. Never handle large pieces of glass or mirrors by yourself.
- When assembling products that have electric cords (lamps, light, etc.), always (1) make sure the electrical cord is unplugged before assembly and (2) be careful not to twist the electrical cord during assembly.
- When assembling shelves or entertainment centers, do not stand on lower shelves in order to assemble upper shelves – use a step ladder.
- Do not stand on tables, including but not limited to, end tables, coffee tables, and dinner tables, as tables are not to support the weight of a person.
- Where assembly instructions state that the assembly requires two or more people, do not attempt by yourself as there is a risk of injury.
Note: Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC disclaims any liability for damages or injuries which may occur due to failure to properly follow assembly instructions, properly assemble the product, or properly use the product.
Note: Your unit may look different in appearance from the one shown in the illustrations on this instruction sheet.
Assembly Steps
Step 1
Attach four 'C' parts (legs/supports) to the base panel 'A' using eight 'H' hardware pieces and the provided tool 'K'. The diagram shows two circular callouts, each illustrating the connection of a 'C' part to 'A' with hardware 'H' and tool 'K'. Multiple connections are indicated by 'x8'.
Step 2
Attach four 'F' parts (support panels) to the structure assembled in Step 1 using eight 'H' hardware pieces and tool 'K'. The diagram shows the 'F' parts being attached to the 'C' parts, with callouts showing the hardware and tool usage. Multiple connections are indicated by 'x8'.
Step 3
Attach part 'E' (side panel) to the structure using four 'J' hardware pieces and tool 'K'. The diagram shows the 'E' part being fitted and secured, with a callout detailing the hardware and tool. Multiple connections are indicated by 'x4'.
Step 4
Attach part 'G' (tabletop support) to the top of the assembled base structure using four 'G' hardware pieces and tool 'K'. The diagram shows the 'G' parts being positioned and secured, with a callout detailing the hardware and tool. Multiple connections are indicated by 'x4'.
Step 5
Remove a specific component from the base panel 'A'. The diagram shows a panel with a section labeled "Remove" and an arrow indicating its removal.
Step 6
Attach part 'G' (tabletop support) to the top of the assembled structure using four 'G' hardware pieces and tool 'K'. The diagram shows the 'G' parts being secured to the main frame, with a callout detailing the hardware and tool. Multiple connections are indicated by 'x4'.
Step 7 (Optional Leaf Attachment)
Instructions to add the table leaf. The diagram shows the table with a leaf being positioned and attached using a mechanism.
Step 8
Extend the table by sliding the sections apart. The diagram shows arrows indicating the outward movement of table sections.
Step 9
Place the table leaf onto the extended table. The diagram shows the leaf being lowered onto the table surface.
Step 10
Slide the table sections together to secure the leaf. The diagram shows arrows indicating the inward movement of table sections to close the gap.
Step 11
Secure the leaf mechanism. The diagram shows close-ups of a mechanism being engaged to lock the leaf in place.
