If you forget the code or the batteries die, use the emergency tubular key to open the safe. Once opened, press the red reset button usually located on the left side of the back of the door to set a new 3-8 digit code.
If the yellow indicator light turns on, it indicates low battery. Open the safe and insert four 1.5V AA alkaline batteries into the battery box located on the back of the door.
The internal battery voltage may be too low to disengage the lock. Insert batteries into the external emergency power box and plug it into the port on the keypad, or use the emergency key to open the door, then replace the internal batteries immediately.
If 3 incorrect codes are input continuously, the keypad will block for 20 seconds and emit an alarm sound. If another 3 incorrect codes are entered, it will block for 5 minutes (300 seconds).
