4. Setup
4.1 Initial Opening and Battery Installation
- For first use, open the safe using one of the emergency keys. Insert the key into the keyhole next to the keypad and turn it. Simultaneously turn the handle to open the door.
- Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the safe door.
- Install 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover.

4.2 Setting Your Personal Password
- With the safe door open, locate and press the red reset button on the inside of the door. The yellow light on the keypad will illuminate.
- Enter your desired 3 to 8 digit password on the keypad.
- Press the "#" key to confirm. The yellow light will turn off, indicating the password has been set.
- Test the new password with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.

4.3 Mounting the Safe
For enhanced security, the safe can be fixed to a wall or floor using the provided expansion bolts.
- Choose a stable, dry, and secure location for your safe.
- Mark the desired drilling points through the pre-drilled holes inside the safe.
- Drill holes into the wall or floor at the marked positions.
- Insert the expansion bolts and secure the safe firmly.

5. Operating the Safe
5.1 Opening the Safe
To open the safe using your set password:
- Enter your 3 to 8 digit password on the keypad.
- Press the "#" key. The green light will illuminate.
- Turn the handle clockwise within 5 seconds to open the door.
5.2 Closing and Locking the Safe
To close and lock the safe:
- Close the safe door firmly.
- Turn the handle counter-clockwise to engage the locking bolts.
5.3 Alarm System
The safe is equipped with an alarm system for enhanced security:
- If 3 consecutive incorrect passwords are entered, the burglar alarm will activate with a warning beep.
- The automatic locking system will be activated, disabling the keypad during the alarm period.

5.4 Emergency Power Supply
In case the batteries are depleted and you cannot open the safe, use the emergency Type-C cable:
- Connect the Type-C cable to the port located on the keypad.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a power bank or suitable power source.
- Once powered, enter your password and open the safe as usual.
5.5 Internal Features
- Fireproof Drawer: The safe includes a built-in fireproof drawer (14.4"W x 10.7"D x 4.7"H) that can be locked with a separate key for additional protection of small valuables.
- Adjustable Shelf: The interior features an adjustable shelf, allowing you to customize the storage space for various items like documents, laptops, and other valuables.
- 180-Degree Door Opening: The door opens 180 degrees for convenient access to the safe's interior. Anti-collision points slow down the closing speed to prevent damage.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior and interior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries annually or when the low battery indicator illuminates to ensure reliable operation.
- Lock Mechanism: Do not lubricate the lock mechanism. If the lock becomes stiff, contact customer support.
