Cuddeback support FAQ
Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
What should I do if my Cuddeback camera takes pictures with a green tint?
A green tint in images is typically caused by the infrared flash mechanism. This is considered normal operation for IR captures and does not affect the detail or quality of the image.
-
How does the CuddeLink network work?
CuddeLink is a proprietary wireless mesh network that allows cameras to communicate with one another. It transmits images from remote cameras to a collection camera (Home unit), allowing you to check up to 24 cameras by visiting a single device.
-
Why does my camera display 'Full'?
If the camera display reads 'Full', it indicates that the SD card has reached its storage capacity. You will need to replace the SD card or format the existing one after backing up your images.
-
My camera keeps shutting off unexpectedly. What is the cause?
Unexpected shutdowns are often caused by low voltage. If you are using rechargeable batteries, their lower voltage may cause the camera to register them as dead even if they hold a charge. Cuddeback recommends using high-quality alkaline batteries for best performance.
-
What type of SD card should I use?
Most Cuddeback cameras support full-size SD cards from 2GB to 32GB. The manufacturer specifically recommends SanDisk brand cards. Do not use SDXC cards or Micro SD cards with adapters unless specified.
