3. Setup
3.1. Battery Installation
The Cuddeback 1279 requires 8 AA batteries (not included). For best performance, use high-quality alkaline or lithium batteries.
- Locate the battery compartment on the side of the camera.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 8 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2. SD Card Installation
The camera supports SD cards up to 32GB (not included).
- Locate the SD card slot, typically found near the bottom of the camera.
- Insert the SD card into the slot with the label facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
- To remove, press the card gently until it springs out.

3.3. Mounting the Camera
The Cuddeback 1279 features the Genius Mount system for flexible and secure placement.
- Attach the mounting bracket to a tree or post using the provided strap or screws (screws not included).
- Slide the camera onto the mounted bracket. This allows for easy removal and reattachment of the camera without disturbing the mount.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Powering On/Off
To power on the camera, locate the power switch, typically labeled 'ON/OFF' or similar, and slide it to the 'ON' position. To power off, slide it to 'OFF'.
4.2. Setting Camera Modes and Parameters
