MAUL Product Warranty Information
This document outlines the warranty terms and conditions for MAUL products.
General Warranty Terms
MAUL GmbH provides a limited warranty for its products.
Warranty Period
The warranty is valid for two (2) years from the date of sale to the first user. Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is required.
Coverage
This warranty covers the repair of defects in the manufacturing process or materials used in the product.
Exclusions
- Damage due to improper handling, mechanical damage, or natural wear and tear.
- Damage caused by batteries (if supplied).
- Tampering or repairs performed by unauthorized third parties.
- Consequential damages.
Claim Procedure
Recognizable defects must be reported within fourteen (14) days of receipt. Hidden defects should be reported immediately upon discovery.
To make a warranty claim, please forward the product along with the proof of purchase to the point of sale. Include your name, address, and a detailed description of the defect.
Out-of-Warranty Service
Repairs or replacements for defects occurring outside the warranty period are available at the customer's expense. Please contact the point of sale for assistance.
Governing Law
This warranty is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers, mandatory provisions of their country of residence's law will apply.
Additional Warranty Conditions for Selected Boards
- Surface Warranty - 5 Years: For the plastic surface of selected boards, provided they are used and cleaned properly.
- Surface Warranty - 30 Years: For the enamel surface of selected boards, provided they are used and cleaned properly.
