MAUL Product Warranty Information
General Warranty Terms
This product has been manufactured with the utmost care and by applying the strictest quality guidelines. The material used and the manufacturing process are subject to constant testing.
The guarantee is valid for three years and covers the repair of defects in the production process or in the materials used. The period of guarantee commences with the day of sale to the first user. The payment slip or the purchase bill are proof.
Warranty Exclusions:
- Damage attributable to improper handling.
- Mechanical damage or natural wear and tear.
- Damage due to batteries (if supplied).
- Manipulation by parties other than the supplier.
- Consequential damages.
Claim Procedure:
- Recognisable defects must be reported within fourteen days after receipt of goods.
- Hidden defects should be notified immediately upon discovery.
- Goods with justifiably rejected defects will be repaired.
- If a defect is not eliminated within a reasonable period, the buyer is entitled to withdraw from the contract.
- For guarantee claims, forward the device with the receipt to the point of sale. Provide your name, address, and a description of the defect.
- Defects occurring outside the guarantee period may be repaired or replaced at the customer's cost. Contact the point of sale for such cases.
These conditions do not exclude the application of EU provisions.
Additional Surface Warranty for Selected Boards
- Plastic Surface: 5 years warranty for the plastic surface of selected boards, provided they are used and cleaned properly.
- Enamel Surface: 30 years warranty for the enamel surface of selected boards, provided they are used and cleaned properly.
