General Warranty Terms (3 Years)
MAUL products are manufactured with the utmost care and adhere to the strictest quality guidelines. Materials and manufacturing processes undergo constant testing.
This warranty is valid for three years from the date of sale to the first user and covers the repair of defects in the production process or materials used. Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is required.
The warranty excludes damages resulting from:
- Improper handling or use
- Mechanical damage
- Natural wear and tear
- Batteries (if supplied)
- Manipulation or repair by unauthorized parties
Consequential damages are not covered.
Claims for recognizable defects must be reported within 14 days of receipt; hidden defects must be reported immediately upon discovery. Goods justifiably rejected will be repaired or replaced. If MAUL fails to rectify a defect within a reasonable period, the buyer may be entitled to withdraw from the contract.
For warranty claims, please forward the product with the proof of purchase to the point of sale, including your name, address, and a description of the defect.
Repairs or replacements outside the warranty period are possible at the customer's expense. Please contact the point of sale for such cases.
These terms do not exclude the application of EU regulations.
Additional Surface Warranty Conditions
For selected boards, additional surface warranties apply:
- Plastic Surface Warranty: 5 years, provided the boards are used and cleaned properly.
- Enamel Surface Warranty: 30 years, provided the boards are used and cleaned properly.
