Mounting Preparation
Wall Mounting Considerations
As wall materials vary, screws for fixing to the wall are not included. For advice on suitable screw systems, contact your local specialized dealer.
Cabinet Preparation
Ensure cabinets are properly aligned and stable. The worktop can be mounted on cabinets with a maximum span of 800 mm (31 1/2") between supports, or 250 mm (10") for units with three compartments.
For appliances like hobs, ovens, or dishwashers, use FIXA/FENSJÖ mounting brackets (sold separately) to attach them to the cabinets.

Step 1: Preparation
Prepare the worktop for cutting or joining.
Step 2: Cutting
It is important to saw the worktop straight. If uncertain, contact your local specialized dealer.
Step 3: Applying Edgeband
If the worktop needs to be cut, use contact adhesive to fix the edgeband to the cut end. Contact adhesive is not included.
Step 4: Trimming Edgeband
Carefully trim the excess edgebanding material.
Step 5: Securing Edgeband
Ensure the edgeband is securely attached.
Step 6: Finishing Edge
Sand the edgebanded edge for a smooth finish.
Worktop Installation

Drill pilot holes into the underside of the worktop. For mounting onto cabinets, drill 12 holes of Ø 3 mm (1/8") at 10 mm (3/8") from the edge.

Attach the worktop to the cabinets using 6 screws.
Step 9: Attaching Worktop (Single Unit)

Sealing and Finishing
Step 12: Applying Sealant
Apply silicone sealant to the joint between the worktop and cabinets to prevent liquids from penetrating. NOTE! Silicone is not included.
Step 13: Cleaning Excess Sealant
Wipe off remaining sealant with soapy water. Stubborn stains can be removed with acetone within 20 minutes after application.
Appliance Installation
When installing appliances (e.g., sinks, hobs, dishwashers) under the worktop, ensure proper mounting using appropriate brackets. If placing white goods (like refrigerators or ovens) beneath the worktop, fit a diffusion barrier on the underside of the worktop to provide extra protection against condensation and moisture.
