Instructions for Use
Introduction
Before using the cosmetic chair, read the attached instructions and follow these steps:
- Ensure all elements of the packaging have been removed.
- Ensure the chair is in good working order.
- Place the chair in the area where it will be used.
Cleaning and Maintenance
To maintain the chair's surface in good condition, it must be cleaned regularly. Clean and disinfect the chair after each use. Thorough disinfection once a month is recommended.
I. Metal and Plastic Surfaces
To clean metal and plastic surfaces, wipe them with a damp cloth. A small brush will work best for cleaning hard-to-reach areas or corners. Do not use too much liquid for cleaning the unit. Then disinfect the unit with a suitable liquid.
II. Stainless Steel Surfaces
Ammonia-based cleaner works best for cleaning. Most solvents can be used to remove stubborn stains. Avoid chlorine-based solutions.
III. Painted or Chromed Metal Surfaces
Do not use water jets (showers, high-pressure water guns) for cleaning. Do not clean at high temperatures and high air humidity. Do not expose the unit to conditions that could lead to liquid contamination. Do not use solvents or acids for cleaning.
IV. Chair Surface
Wipe the chair surface evenly with a special leather cleaner, then wipe it with a clean, soft cloth.
Maintenance
- Repairs must be performed by experienced and authorized personnel from the manufacturer. Repairs performed by unauthorized personnel may lead to injury or damage to the unit, for which the manufacturer is not liable.
- Use only original spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
- All maintenance and repair activities must be documented.
If any defects are found, stop using the unit and contact an authorized service center. Only experienced or authorized personnel may open or replace the drive/control unit.

Safety Warnings
General Precautions
- Ensure children do not play near the seat without adult supervision.
- Do not place your hand or foot in the chair's crevices.
- Do not expose the chair to direct sunlight.
- Do not push or pull the chair on uneven floors.
- Do not stand on the chair.
- The chair should not be used by people with physical limitations, sensory disorders, or mental health issues.
Electrical Safety and Operational Warnings
- This is professional equipment for beauty salons and must be used only by qualified cosmetic personnel.
- Do not disassemble or attempt to use the unit for purposes other than those stated in this manual. All servicing and repairs must be performed only by an authorized service technician (ACTIV Tomasz Pacholczyk).
- Do not install or operate the unit near liquids, wet areas, or with wet hands – so that liquids do not enter the unit.
- Immediately unplug the unit from the outlet and contact the authorized service company ACTIV Tomasz Pacholczyk in the following cases: a) liquid has entered the unit, b) the unit emits a strange odor, smoke, or makes strange sounds, c) the power cable is damaged, d) the unit has been overturned or its casing damaged.
- Do not place any objects on the cables. Do not install the device in a place where someone might step on the power cable.
- For safety reasons, unplug the power cable from the outlet every time you finish working with the unit.
- Do not insert anything into the unit's opening. If a foreign object enters the opening, unplug the cable and contact the distributor or manufacturer.
- Do not place the unit on an unstable trolley, shelf, or vehicle. The unit may be damaged if it falls.
- To ensure the fixed service life of the unit, it is recommended to observe a one-minute interval before pressing the power button again (between switching on and off).
- The power supply must comply with the specifications indicated on the data plate. Otherwise, there is a risk of malfunction, damage, or even burnout of the unit.
- In case of power cable damage or other malfunctions, contact an authorized service center to avoid any danger.
- This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical and mental capabilities and lack of experience and knowledge of the equipment, if supervision or instructions for safe use of the appliance are provided, so that the associated risks are understood.
- The equipment is not intended for play by children. Do not allow children to play with the unit.
- Do not leave the unit unattended when children or persons without sufficient knowledge of its use are nearby.
- This electrical appliance is not a toy. Improper use or contact with the electrical unit can pose a risk to health or lead to death, therefore the unit must be used and stored in a place inaccessible to children.
Disposal
Dispose of used electrical appliances, accessories, and packaging at recycling centers in accordance with environmental protection principles. Electrical appliances must not be disposed of in household waste containers. Comply with the rules for disposal of this type of equipment. In order to protect the environment in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment, waste electrical equipment must be collected separately and handed over to collection points for waste electrical and electronic equipment.
End-of-life and old appliances contain fully recyclable components and therefore must be handed over for recycling. Therefore, they must be handed over to the respective collection points, as well as to the company ACTIV Tomasz Pacholczyk.
Storage and Transportation
The unit must be transported at temperatures in the range of (-) 20°C to (+) 50°C, only in its original packaging. The unit must be stored in a well-ventilated place with relative humidity not exceeding 75%. Operating temperature from (+) 10°C to (+) 40°C. During storage and transportation processes, the unit must not be thrown or dropped, exposed to mechanical impacts or atmospheric influences.
Adjustments
Footrest Adjustment
Each footrest is adjusted separately using the levers underneath. To adjust the footrest, pull the lever and tilt the footrest into the correct position. The footrests can also be adjusted sideways.
Backrest Adjustment
The backrest position can be adjusted using the lever located next to the armrest. Pull the lever and tilt the backrest backward or forward.
Height Adjustment
The seat height can be adjusted using the lever located under the seat.
