This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the assembly, safe use, and maintenance of the Baby Trend Nursery Center. It is designed to help you set up and enjoy your playard, bassinet, changing table, and mobile.

Important Safety Warnings

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

• NEVER LEAVE INFANT IN PRODUCT WITH SIDES DOWN. Infant may roll into space between pad and loose mesh side causing suffocation.
• INFANTS CAN SUFFOCATE: In gaps between a mattress too small or too thick and product sides, or on soft bedding. Never add extra mattresses, pillows, comforters, or padding. Use only the manufacturer-provided mattress.
• FALL HAZARD: Discontinue use when infant can push up on hands and knees, reaches 25 inches (635 mm) height, 15 lbs (6.8 kgs) weight, or is 4 months old, whichever comes first.
• STRANGULATION HAZARD: Keep strings away from children's necks. Never suspend strings over playard or attach strings to toys. Never place product near windows with cords.
• Always provide supervision. Never leave child unattended.
• Ensure all latches are secure and the playard is fully erected before use.
• Never use plastic bags or film as mattress covers as they can cause suffocation.
• Check product periodically for loose fasteners, joints, broken parts, or torn mesh/fabric. Contact Baby Trend Customer Service for replacement parts.
• Never use the changing table if it is damaged or broken. Always use the restraint belt when the child is on the changing table.

Assembly Instructions

Assembling the Playard

1. Unzip the travel bag and remove the playard frame. Undo the two (2) fastening straps and set the mattress aside. Do not push the center down yet.
2. Ensure all four (4) top rails are fully erected. Pull up one rail at a time, holding each side, and pull sharply. Ensure tubes latch securely and rails are rigid. The center must be raised while locking rails. If one side locks but the other doesn't, unlock and try again.
3. Once all four top rails are locked, push the center handle down. The center mechanism will rotate 90 degrees clockwise and lock. Test each top rail by pushing down slightly to confirm it is rigid and secure.
4. Place the mattress on the playard floor with the padded side facing up.
5. Insert the two (2) Velcro® straps from the mattress underside through the slots in the playard floor. Fasten the straps to prevent the mattress from moving. Ensure the center handle remains raised while locking side rails.

Assembling the Bassinet

1. Ensure the playard is fully assembled and locked.
2. Position the bassinet over and down into the playard. Secure it by firmly pushing down on each plastic support clip until snapped into place.
3. Insert the assembled Mattress Support Tubes into the loops provided on the bottom of the bassinet.
4. Place the mattress into the bassinet with the padded side facing upward.

Assembling the Changing Table

1. Connect the two (2) Long Curved Bars together.
2. Insert the assembled curved bars into the changing table fabric sleeve.
3. Connect the two (2) Short Bars to each end of the Long Curved Bar, ensuring knobs face down and in the same direction.
4. Insert Connector Knob Prongs into the holes on the playard corners.
5. Turn the Connector Knobs counter-clockwise to lock.
6. Flip the changing table onto the playard.
7. Snap the two (2) buttons on the flap down onto the playard frame to secure the changing table. Ensure it is correctly and securely installed before each use.

Assembling the Mobile

1. Insert the Mobile Lower Arm into the Mobile Arm Holder until they lock together.
2. Insert the Mobile Upper Curved Arm into the combined lower arm/holder until locked.
3. Snap the Mobile Tri-shaped Arm onto the end of the upper curved arm.
4. Connect each of the three toys to the mobile by threading the string into the slot at the end of each arm.
5. Insert the bottom of the Mobile Arm into the playard frame.

Removing the Bassinet

1. Remove the mattress from the bassinet.
2. Remove the canopy.
3. Unsnap all clips and lift the bassinet away.

Removing the Changing Table

1. Flip the changing table to the outside of the playard.
2. Unsnap the fabric flap from the playard.
3. Twist Connector Knobs clockwise to unlock.
4. Remove the changing table from the playard. Disconnect short bars from the curved bar by pressing snap buttons and pulling apart. Remove the curved bar from the changing table sleeve.

Parent Organizer Assembly

1. Position the organizer hooks correctly.
2. Connect the organizer/diaper stacker to the playard by sliding the connecting clips over an open portion of the top rail. Ensure clips attach easily without interfering with other features.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Use only household mild soap and warm water.
• DO NOT USE BLEACH.
• DO NOT MACHINE WASH.
