Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Playard Frame
Unzip the travel/storage bag and remove the playard frame. Undo the two (2) fasten straps and set the mattress aside. Do not push the center down yet.
Diagram Description: Figure 1 shows the playard frame being removed from its bag, with straps visible.
Step 2: Erect the Top Rails
Top rails must be fully erected before lowering the center. Pull up one rail at a time, holding each side firmly, and pull sharply upwards. Do not pull from the middle where the center latch release is located. Ensure both tubes latch in place and each rail is rigid.
Diagram Description: Figure 2 illustrates pulling up a single top rail, showing how to grip it on both sides for proper leverage.
IMPORTANT: The center must be raised while locking the rails. If one rail locks but the other does not, unlock the rail by squeezing the release in the center and try again.
Step 3: Lock the Center
Once all four (4) top rails are locked in place, push down on the center handle. The center mechanism will rotate clockwise 90 degrees and automatically lock in place.
Diagram Description: Figure 3a shows pushing down the center handle. Figure 3b shows the center mechanism locking.
IMPORTANT: Test each top rail by pushing down slightly to confirm it is rigid and securely in place before use.
Step 4: Place the Mattress
Place the mattress on the floor of the playard with the padded side facing up.
Diagram Description: Figure 4 shows the mattress being placed inside the playard frame.
Step 5: Secure the Mattress
Insert the two (2) Velcro® straps located on the underside of the mattress through the slots in the floor of each end of the playard. Fasten the hook and loop straps to the underside of the playard floor to prevent the mattress from moving.
Diagram Description: Figure 5a shows the Velcro straps being threaded through the playard floor slots. Figure 5b shows the straps fastened underneath.
IMPORTANT: The handle in the center of the playard floor MUST remain raised (approx. 45.7 cm or 18 inches) while locking the side rails. If the center is not raised, the rails will NOT lock. If you experience difficulty, contact Customer Service.
Step 6: Operate the Wheels
To operate the brakes on the wheels, press downward on the brake levers. To release, lift upward on the lever.
Diagram Description: Figure 6 illustrates pressing down on a brake lever to engage the brake and lifting it to release.
Step 7: Fold the Playard
Release the two (2) Velcro® straps holding the mattress from underneath the playard floor or bassinet and set the mattress aside. Do not unlock top rails yet; the center of the floor must be raised before top rails will unlock.
Rotate the center handle counter-clockwise 90 degrees and raise the center as high as the top rails. Gather the legs and wheels together towards the center as close as possible so they nearly touch.
Diagram Description: Figure 7 shows rotating the center handle and gathering the legs and wheels for folding.
Step 8: Unlock and Fold Top Rails
Locate the rail latch release in the center and bottom side of each rail. Squeeze the lever with two hands until the rail releases the two tubes, then push down. NOTE: If the top rail(s) do not release completely, DO NOT FORCE! Lift the center of the floor higher. Both tubes must be released for the top rail to fold.
Diagram Description: Figure 8a shows locating and squeezing the latch release. Figure 8b shows pushing the rail down after release.
Step 9: Prepare Mattress for Storage
Gather the four (4) corners and center them tightly. Wrap the mattress around the playard frame with the padded side facing inward. Secure the two (2) hook and loop straps by feeding them through the loops on the end of the mattress and folding them back onto themselves.
Diagram Description: Figure 9 shows gathering the playard corners and wrapping the mattress.
Step 10: Store the Playard
Secure the two (2) hook and loop straps by feeding them through the loops on the end of the mattress and folding them back onto themselves. Place the folded playard into the carry bag.
Diagram Description: Figure 10 shows securing the mattress straps and placing the folded playard into the carry bag.
Step 11: Install the Bassinet
Position the bassinet over and down into the fully assembled playard. Secure in place by pushing down firmly on each plastic support clip until all are snapped into place.
Diagram Description: Figure 11 shows the bassinet being placed and secured into the playard frame.
ATTENTION: Playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using the bassinet feature.
Step 12: Attach Mattress Support Tubes to Bassinet
Insert the assembled mattress support tubes into the loops provided on the bottom of the bassinet.
Diagram Description: Figure 12a shows the tubes being inserted into the bassinet frame. Figure 12b shows the tubes secured at the bottom of the bassinet.
Step 13: Place Mattress in Bassinet
Place the mattress into the bassinet with the padded side facing upward.
Diagram Description: Figure 13 shows the mattress being placed into the bassinet.
To Remove Bassinet
Remove the mattress from the bassinet. Remove the canopy. Unsnap all clips and lift the bassinet.
Step 14: Assemble Changing Table Bars
Connect the two (2) Long Curved Bars together. Insert the assembled curved bars into the changing table fabric, sliding them around inside the sleeve. Connect the two (2) Short Bars to each end of the Long Curved Bar, ensuring the knobs face down and in the same direction.
Diagram Description: Figures 14a-14d illustrate connecting the curved bars, inserting them into the fabric, and connecting the short bars with knobs.
Step 15: Attach Changing Table to Playard
Insert Connector Knob Prongs into holes located on both corners of the playard. Turn the Connector Knobs counter-clockwise to lock into place. Flip the Changing Table over onto the playard and snap the two (2) buttons on the flap down onto the playard frame.
Diagram Description: Figures 15a-15d show inserting the knobs, turning them to lock, flipping the table, and snapping the buttons.
IMPORTANT: Check that the Changing Table is correctly and securely installed BEFORE each use.
Step 16: Secure Changing Table to Playard Frame
Locate the Velcro straps on the bottom of the changing table and on the inside of the playard side rails. Secure the changing table to the playard frame by fastening the Velcro straps on the underside of the changing table to the side rails of the playard frame.
Diagram Description: Figures 16-18 illustrate locating the straps, flipping the table, and securing it with Velcro.
Step 17: Use Changing Table Restraint System
Place child on changing table, ensuring hands and arms are clear of the restraint. Bring the restraint around the child's waist and clip the buckle ends together. Tighten the strap until it fits snugly but do not overtighten. To remove, unsnap the buckle.
Diagram Description: Figures 19a-19b show placing the child, applying the restraint, and tightening it.
ATTENTION: NEVER use the changing table if it is damaged or broken.
To Remove Changing Table
Flip the Changing Table to the outside of the playard. Unsnap the fabric flap. Twist Connector Knobs clockwise to unlock. Remove the Changing Table and disconnect the Short Bars from the Curved Bar by pressing snap buttons and pulling apart. Remove the Curved Bar from the sleeve.
Diagram Description: Figures 20a-20b show flipping the table, unsnapping, unlocking, and disconnecting parts.
Parent Organizer Assembly
For the Parent Organizer: Position each hook so the hooked end faces the rear of the organizer. Press the hook down firmly into the slot until it snaps into place. Connect the organizer to the playard by sliding the two connecting clips over an open portion of the top rail.
Diagram Description: Figures 21a-21b show attaching the parent organizer hooks and connecting it to the playard rail.
NOTE: The organizer can only be installed on open sides of the playard where clips can attach without interfering with other features.
Mobile Assembly
ATTENTION: A crib mobile is for visual stimulation only and not for grasping. Remove when baby begins to push up on hands and knees. Mount on wall or ceiling out of reach if designed for it. Always attach all provided fasteners tightly and check frequently. DO NOT add extra strings/straps. DO NOT attach the mobile with the child in the playard or bassinet.
Step 22: Insert the Mobile Lower Arm (a) into the Mobile Arm Holder (b) until they lock together.
