Assembly Steps
Step 1: Attach Feet
Take the bottom panel. Attach 6 adjustable feet (114947, 115988) to the underside of the bottom panel by screwing them into the pre-drilled holes. Ensure they are tightened securely.
Step 2: Insert Cam Lock Screws
On the two side panels, insert 12 cam lock screws (130618) into the designated holes.
Step 3: Assemble Base Structure
Align the side panels with the bottom panel. Insert the cam lock screws from the side panels into the corresponding holes on the bottom panel.
Step 4: Secure Side Panels
Insert 8 cam locks (118137, 122971, 141028, 130725, 119253) into the large holes on the bottom panel, aligning the arrow on the cam lock towards the cam lock screw head. Turn each cam lock clockwise [turn cam lock] to secure the side panels to the bottom panel.
Step 5: Attach Vertical Divider
Insert the vertical divider panel into its designated position between the side panels. Ensure it is seated correctly.
Step 6: Attach Bracket to Shelf
Attach a bracket (144342) to one of the shelves using a screw (113287).
Step 7: Attach Top Panel
Place the top panel onto the assembled structure, aligning the holes with the cam lock screws on the side panels and vertical divider. Insert 2 cam locks and turn clockwise [turn cam lock] to secure the top panel.
Step 8: Insert Back Panels
Carefully slide the two back panels into the grooves on the back of the unit. Ensure they are fully seated.
Step 9: Secure Top Surface
The diagram shows securing the top surface with additional fixings. This typically involves cam locks or screws depending on the specific BESTÅ configuration.
Step 10: Rotate Unit & Secure Internals
Carefully rotate the unit to access the back for further assembly. Secure the internal structure with 2 cam locks.
Step 11: Attach Drawer Runners
Attach the drawer runners (2x, parts 144351, 144352, 144353) to the inside of the unit, following the pre-drilled holes.
Step 12: Insert Support Rail
Insert a support rail (1x) into the designated slots.
Step 13: Attach Additional Brackets
Attach shelf supports (1x, parts 133203, 133204, 133205, 133207, 133206, 10093227) and other brackets (1x, parts 144567, 144568, 144569, 144570, 144571, 10093069) using screws (109049).
Step 14: Route Cables
Route any necessary cables through the back of the unit using the provided openings.
Step 15: Attach Cable Management Clips
Attach cable management clips (1x, parts 133209, 133210, 133212, 133211, 133208, 10093085) to secure cables. You should hear a "Click!" ? when they are properly attached.
Step 16: Attach Adjustable Feet
Attach the remaining adjustable feet (4x, part 100006) to the underside of the unit.
Step 17: Level the Unit
Adjust the feet by turning them to ensure the unit is level on the floor. Use a spirit level ? for accuracy.
Step 18: Wall Attachment [Critical Safety Step] ⚠️
This is a critical safety step to prevent tip-over. Attach the wall mounting brackets (2x, part 103693) to the back of the furniture and then securely to the wall using appropriate screws and wall plugs (not included, choose based on your wall type). Ensure the unit is firmly attached to the wall. You should hear a "Click!" ? when the brackets are engaged.
Step 19: Insert Shelves
Insert shelf pins (8x, part 116637) into the desired holes inside the unit. Place the shelves (8x, parts 115444, 115443) onto the shelf pins.
