- 2. 1kW Super Fast Car Charger
- 3. 1.8kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger
- 4. 1.8kW Super Fast Charger 45A Car Charging Cable
Important Notes for Car Charging:
- Make sure the connected car power supply is within the specifications of the accessory. Otherwise, it may cause abnormal performance or damage to the power station.
- Make sure the power adapter is securely connected to the car power port and the car engine is started before recharging.
3.4 Solar Power Scenario
This section details solar charging options:
Car Power Outlet to SDC Power Adapter
Connects a car power outlet to the SDC port for charging (Max 100W).
Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT)
Connects solar panels via MC4 ports using an MC4 to XT60 Cable (Max 400W).
1.8kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger
This charger can be used for both solar and car charging.
- 1. 1.8kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger
- 2. 1.8kW Super Fast Charger XT90 to MC4 Adapter Cable
Important Notes for Solar Charging:
- Use officially authorized solar panels. Do not mix different types of solar panels. Ensure connected solar panels are within adapter input specifications.
- Up to three solar panels can be connected in parallel to the adapter module.
- The Car Power Outlet to SDC Power Cable allows connection of one solar panel.
3.5 Solar Power + RV Scenario
This scenario describes integrating the power station with an RV and solar power.
- 1. 1.8 kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger
- 2. 1.8kW Super Fast Charger 45A Car Charging Cable
When using multiple recharging methods simultaneously, solar recharging takes priority by default. Recharging sequence can be adjusted in DJI Home App by enabling Custom Backup Reserve Level in Energy Management.
4 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
Connect the power station to an AC power outlet and an external device (e.g., a computer). Press the AC button once; UPS is enabled if the [UPS Icon] appears on the display screen.
When the power grid is normal, the AC power outlet powers both the power station and the connected device.
In case of a sudden power outage, the power station automatically switches to power supply status, ensuring the connected device remains in normal operation.
- The power station supports basic UPS functionality and does not support 0ms switching. DO NOT connect to devices requiring 0ms UPS, such as medical equipment.
- This function may be unavailable in some regions. Refer to local laws and regulations.
- Due to local restrictions, the actual output power may be lowered in UPS mode.
5 Setting Up an Energy Optimization Plan
The Energy Optimization function in DJI Home App helps manage charging and discharging plans to reduce electricity costs.
5.1 Scheduled Periods
When enabled, the power station automatically charges and discharges according to set peak and off-peak electricity rate periods.
- Turn on the power station and ensure it is connected to DJI Home App.
- Make sure the power station and mobile phone are connected to Wi-Fi. Update device firmware to the latest version.
- Run DJI Home App, tap [Settings Icon] at the top-right corner, and tap Energy Optimization > Scheduled Periods.
- Set peak and off-peak electricity rate periods. During peak periods, the power station supplies power to connected appliances; during off-peak periods, it will be charged.
5.2 Grid-Tied ESS
A solar power system is required to use the Grid-Tied ESS function. The power station can be connected to the grid to maximize solar energy use and reduce electricity costs.
Grid-Tied functions are supported in some countries and regions. Visit https://www.dji.com/power-2000/faq for more details.
Getting Started
- Connect the power station to a wall socket and tighten the screws on the AC input port.
- DO NOT connect to extension cords or sockets with aging wiring.
- Install a smart meter (optional).
- Visit https://www.dji.com/power-2000/faq to view supported smart meter models.
- Refer to smart meter manuals for safe installation and usage. Installations should be completed by a qualified electrician.
- Consult an electrician or power company to determine the actual operating meter phase for app settings.
- Before using the grid-tied function, submit a power grid connection request in compliance with local laws and regulations. Consult your local power company for details.
Grid-Tied Settings
- Turn on the power station and ensure it is connected to DJI Home App.
- Make sure the power station and mobile phone are connected to Wi-Fi. Update device firmware to the latest version.
- Run DJI Home App, tap [Settings Icon] at the top-right corner, and tap Energy Optimization > Grid-Tied ESS.
- Select the grid-tied mode:
- Max Self-Consumption Mode: Ideal for households with solar systems and relatively stable electricity bills.
- Time of Use (TOU) Mode: Ideal for households with a large difference between peak and off-peak rates and where a solar system is installed.
Electricity Prices | Smart Meter | Recommended Settings |
---|---|---|
With peak and off-peak difference | No | Time of Use (TOU) Mode, Power Adjustment: Manual |
With peak and off-peak difference | Yes | Time of Use (TOU) Mode, Power Adjustment: Auto |
No peak or off-peak difference | Yes | Max Self-Consumption Mode |
* Select Scheduled Periods if no solar power system is installed.
Both max self-consumption and TOU adjust charging and discharging based on household electricity usage, prioritizing solar power or power station energy to reduce grid consumption and costs. TOU mode further optimizes power usage based on electricity price schedules.
Completing Settings
- Complete the settings in DJI Home App.
- Sync the smart meter to the app and refer to the illustration for check box selection.
Important Notes for Grid-Tied Mode:
- When grid-tied, the output power of the power station will be 800 W and the max charging power will be 2200 W.
- UPS function can still be used in grid-tied mode, but total power consumption of connected devices should not exceed 1200 W.
- When disconnecting from the grid for outdoor or vehicle use, disable energy optimization settings for stable power output.

- DO NOT power off the device or disconnect it from the computer during a firmware update.
- If the firmware update fails, the display screen will show UPGD FAIL. Disconnect the device, press and hold the power button for five seconds to power off, and try again.
6.4 Log Export
- Power off the device. Press and hold the AC button and the power button simultaneously until the USB-C icon blinks on the display screen.
- Connect the computer to the designated USB-C port.
- Run DJI Assistant 2, click Log Export, select the log, and save.
- Restart the power station to resume normal use after completing log export.
6.5 Maintenance
- For extended storage, discharge the power station to 60%. Storing at a high power level shortens battery cell life.
- Store the power station in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and potential water leaks.
- DO NOT store the power station after fully discharging it, as this may cause over-discharge and irreparable damage to the battery cell.
- Charge and discharge the power station once every 6 months to ensure battery performance: discharge to below 15%, power off for over two hours, then charge to 100% in Standard Recharge mode.
- Clean ports with a clean, dry cloth. DO NOT use alcohol or flammable solvents.
6.6 Disposal
- Dispose of the power station in accordance with local regulations for hazardous chemicals and battery recycling. DO NOT dispose of in regular waste containers.
- Dispose of the power station in a suitable recycling container only after fully discharging it.
- Power stations that are over-discharged, swollen, damaged, or leaky must be disposed of properly. Contact a professional battery disposal or recycling agent for assistance.
