Charging External Devices
Output AC
The power station has two AC output ports. Connect external devices to the AC output ports and press the AC output button for AC power supply.
The power station features Automatic AC Shutdown and Auto Shutdown to conserve power. Pressing the AC output button once enables AC output, and the indicator will flash slowly. AC output will automatically turn off if no devices are being charged via the AC output port for half an hour. To enable Continuous AC Output, press and hold the AC output button. The indicator will show a solid light, and the output will not turn off automatically, suitable for devices like refrigerators.
When AC output is deactivated, the power station will automatically shut down if no devices are being charged via the AC output port for one hour.
When recharging with AC input power at different frequencies, the power station will automatically switch to the same frequency as the input power. To manually change the AC output frequency, disconnect the power station from the AC outlet when AC output is enabled, then press and hold the AC output button for 10 seconds.
Note: Internal electronic components have a waterproof coating. A slight odor may be noticeable when high power is used, which will dissipate naturally with daily use.

Recharging the Power Station
AC Recharging
The power station offers Fast Recharge and Standard Recharge modes for AC recharging.
Fast Recharge Mode: Offers higher recharge power, reaching 80% in about 50 minutes and 100% in about 70 minutes.
Standard Recharge Mode: Offers lower recharge power and noise, suitable for overnight charging, and can extend battery cell life. Recharging to 100% takes about two hours.
Steps for AC Recharging (using DJI Power 1000 as example):
- Open the port cover and connect the DJI Power 1000 to an AC outlet using the AC power cable.
- Toggle the recharge mode switch to set the recharge mode to Fast Recharge (1200W for Power 1000, 540W for Power 500) or Standard Recharge (600W for Power 1000, 270W for Power 500).
Recommendations:
- Disconnect the AC outlet once charging is complete.
- Standard Recharge mode is recommended for longer battery cell life.
- The power station employs a battery cell life protection strategy. After five consecutive Fast Recharge cycles, it will automatically switch to Standard Recharge mode for the sixth recharge to ensure battery maintenance. This maintenance process takes approximately 20 minutes.
- If the temperature is abnormal during Fast Recharge, the temperature error icon will flash slowly. Actual recharge power may be reduced to ensure battery cell life and safety.

Solar Recharging
The power station can be connected to solar panels using the DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter (MPPT) or a Car Charger to SDC Power Cable for solar recharging. Both accessories are sold separately.
Steps for Solar Recharging (using DJI Power 1000 as example):
- Deploy the solar panel, support it with a stand, and align it towards the sunlight. Adjust the support stand angle. It is recommended that the solar panel surface is perpendicular to the sunlight. Ensure the solar panel is not obstructed.
- Connect the solar panel using the XT60 cable to the solar panel adapter module to begin recharging.
Important Notes:
- Follow instructions for using solar panels. Do not mix solar panel types, as this can cause damage.
- Up to three solar panels can be connected in parallel to the adapter module for DJI Power 1000 (total of six panels via two adapters). DJI Power 500 can connect one adapter module and up to three solar panels.
- The Car Charger to SDC Power Cable allows connection of one solar panel. The maximum solar panel current must be lower than 10 A, and the output power must be lower than 100 W.
- It is recommended to use DJI-approved Zignes solar panels. If using other panels, ensure they meet the following requirements to prevent damage:
- Open-circuit voltage is lower than 30 V.
- Maximum current of any single solar panel is lower than 10 A.
- If multiple solar panels are used, the total power is lower than 400 W.
- For DJI Power 500, the maximum input power is limited to 300 W when using the SDC Lite port for solar charging.
- Keep the power station away from direct sunlight during recharging. Excessive heat can cause damage.
- Avoid covering solar panel surfaces with leaves or other objects. Partial shading will affect power generation efficiency and may cause overcurrent, damaging components.
- Clean the solar panel surface gently with a soft cloth dampened with clean water.

Car Recharging
The DJI Power Car Outlet to SDC Power Adapter can be used to connect a car power port to the power station's SDC (or SDC Lite) port for recharging.
Important:
- Ensure the car power port input voltage is within 12-30 V and the maximum input current is lower than 8 A. Otherwise, it may cause abnormal performance or damage to the power station.
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the car power port and the car engine is running before recharging.

USB-C Recharging
The DJI Power 500 can be recharged using a USB Power Delivery charger via the USB-C port for a maximum charging power of 100 W. The DJI Power 500 also supports simultaneous power input, allowing two USB-C ports to be used for charging at a maximum power of 200 W.
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
The power station supports Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). Connect the power station to an AC outlet and connect external devices, such as computers, to the power station. Press the AC button once, and a UPS indicator will appear on the display screen. In this mode, the AC output powers the power station and the connected devices. UPS is enabled by default.
If there is a sudden power outage, the power station can automatically switch to battery power supply within 20 ms, ensuring connected devices remain operational.
Warnings:
- The power station only supports basic UPS features and does not support 0ms UPS. Do not connect the power station to devices that require 0ms UPS, such as medical equipment, data servers, or workstations storing critical data, as this may cause device damage or data loss.
- This function may not be available in all regions. Check local laws and regulations for more information.

Protective Storage Bag
The DJI Power 1000 can be used with a protective storage bag. This bag protects the power station from scratches and dust, making it easier to carry. Open the front of the bag to connect external devices to the power station, and the back of the bag is for storing cables and accessories. When using the DJI Power 1000 with the protective storage bag, ensure both sides of the bag are unzipped to prevent the air vents from being blocked, which could cause overheating.

Maintenance
- If the power station needs to be stored for an extended period, it is recommended to discharge it to 60%. Storing it at a low power level can lead to over-discharge.
- The power station should be stored at a temperature of -10° to 45° C (14° to 113° F), in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight. DO NOT place the power station in water or in places prone to leaks.
- DO NOT store the power station for a long time after it has been fully discharged, as the battery may be over-discharged, causing damage to the battery cells.
- Recharge and discharge the power station once every four months to ensure battery performance: discharge the power station to 15%, power it off for more than two hours, and then recharge it to 100% in Standard Recharge mode.
- Clean ports with a clean, dry cloth if significant buildup is present. DO NOT clean the power station with alcohol or other flammable solvents.
