Introduction
The DJI Power 1000 is a portable power station with a capacity of 1024 Wh, weighing approximately 13 kg, and supporting a maximum output power of 2200 W. The DJI Power 500 is a portable power station with a capacity of 512 Wh, weighing approximately 7.3 kg, and supporting a maximum output power of 1000 W.
These power stations offer fast charging and standard charging modes for AC charging. In fast charging mode, the power station can be quickly charged to 80% in approximately 50 minutes and to 100% in approximately 70 minutes. In standard charging mode, operating noise can be reduced, and battery cell lifespan can be extended. The power station charges to 100% in approximately 2 hours. The power stations are equipped with SDC/SDC Lite ports. With various DJI Power accessories, the power stations can charge DJI intelligent flight batteries and other types of devices, supporting power in various situations.

Display Screen
The display screen provides information about the power station's status:
- 1. Displays the current battery charge level of the power station.
- 2. Displays the remaining usage time when the power station is charging an external device. It also displays the remaining time needed to fully charge the power station from the current battery level when the power station is being charged.
- 3. Battery Level Indicator: When the power station is charging, the battery level indicator flashes sequentially. When the power station is charging an external device, the last segment of the battery level indicator flashes.
- 4. System Warnings:
- ERR88: Error code. Temperature error. If the temperature is outside the normal range during fast charging, the temperature icon will flash slowly. Actual charging power may be reduced to ensure safety and battery cell lifespan. If the temperature is too high or too low, the icon will be solid. Wait for the temperature to return to normal.
- OVERLOAD: Overload warning.
- 5. AC charging in fast charging mode.
- 6. AC charging in standard charging mode.
- 7. USB-A port.
- 8. USB-C port.
- 9. 88Hz: AC output frequency.
- 10. SDC/SDC Lite Port: Indicates charging the power station or charging external devices via SDC/SDC Lite port.
- 11. 88.88 V: Voltage value when using SDC/SDC Lite port.
- 12. 88.88 %: Battery level of the DJI intelligent flight battery when charging the battery via SDC/SDC Lite port.
- 13. Power Input.
- 14. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS): If the power station is connected to an AC outlet and simultaneously outputs AC power, UPS is enabled by default. This feature may not be available in all regions. Refer to local laws and regulations for more information.
- 15. Output Power.

Powering On or Off
1. Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for at least two seconds. The display screen will automatically turn on after powering up.
2. Turn Display Screen On/Off: With the power station on, press the power button once to turn the display screen on or off.

Charging External Devices
AC Output
The power station is equipped with two AC output ports. Connect an external device to an AC output port and press the AC output button to power the AC output.
The power station features automatic AC output shutdown and automatic shutdown for power saving.
- Automatic AC Output Shutdown: A single press of the AC output button activates the AC output, and the AC output indicator will flash slowly. The AC output will automatically shut down to save electricity if no device is charged via the AC output ports for half an hour.
- Continuous AC Output: Press and hold the AC output button to activate the AC output. The AC output indicator will remain solid, and the AC output will not shut down automatically. This ensures continuous AC power supply to external devices that operate intermittently, such as refrigerators.
- Automatic Shutdown at Low Power: When the AC output is deactivated, the power station will automatically shut down if no device is charged for one hour.
When charging with AC power of a different frequency, the power station automatically switches to the same frequency as the input voltage. To manually switch the AC output frequency, disconnect the power station from the AC outlet when AC output is enabled, then press and hold the AC output button for 10 seconds.
⚠⚠ Internal electronic components have a waterproof coating. A slight odor may be noticeable when using high power. The odor will disappear during use.

USB Output
The power station is equipped with two USB-A ports and two USB-C ports. Connect external devices to the USB-A or USB-C ports for power.

Fast Charging DJI Drone Batteries
DJI Power 1000 is equipped with an SDC port and an SDC Lite port, and DJI Power 500 is equipped with an SDC Lite port. The power station can quickly charge supported DJI intelligent flight batteries using an SDC fast charging cable (sold separately).

Other SDC Output
This power station can also be used with other SDC cables (sold separately) to charge various devices through the SDC/SDC Lite port.
- DJI Power SDC to Car Charger Cable (12 V): The power station can use this cable to charge car-powered devices, such as a car refrigerator. Ensure the external device meets the cable's output specifications (13.6 V, 10 A, 136 W).
- DJI Power SDC to XT60 Cable (12 V): This power station can use this cable to provide 12 V DC input for devices with an XT60 port. ⚠⚠ NEVER connect a lithium battery directly with an XT60 port using the DJI Power SDC to XT60 cable. Ensure the power station is connected to a balanced charger first.

Charging the Power Station
AC Charging
The power station supports fast charging and standard charging modes for AC charging.
- Fast Charging Mode: Higher charging power. Charges to 80% in approx. 50 minutes, 100% in approx. 70 minutes.
- Standard Charging Mode: Lower charging power and noise, suitable for overnight charging. May extend battery cell lifespan. Charges to 100% in approx. 2 hours.
Steps for AC charging (using DJI Power 1000 as an example):
- Open the port cover and connect the DJI Power 1000 to an AC outlet using the included AC cable.
- Use the charging mode switch to set the charging mode to 1200W fast charging or 600W standard charging. For DJI Power 500, the modes are 540W fast charging or 270W standard charging.
• Disconnect the device from the AC outlet after charging is complete.
• For extended battery cell lifespan, standard charging mode is recommended.
• The power station has a battery cell lifespan protection strategy. If the power station is charged in fast charging mode for five consecutive cycles, it will automatically switch to standard charging mode for battery maintenance on the sixth fast charge. This maintenance process takes approximately 20 minutes.
• If the temperature is outside the normal range during fast charging, the temperature icon on the display will flash slowly. Actual charging power may be reduced to ensure safety and battery cell lifespan.

Solar Charging
The power station can be connected to solar panels using the DJI MPPT Solar Panel Adapter or the DJI Car Charger to SDC Cable for solar charging. Both accessories are sold separately.
Steps for solar charging (using DJI Power 1000 as an example):
- Unfold the solar panel, support it with its stand, and align it towards sunlight. Adjust the angle of the support stand. It is recommended that the solar panel surface be perpendicular to the sunlight. Ensure the solar panel is not obstructed.
- Connect the solar panel using an XT60 cable to the solar panel adapter module and begin charging.
• Follow the instructions when using a solar panel. NEVER mix solar panel types, as this may damage the device.
• Up to three solar panels can be connected to the adapter module and used in parallel (not in series). Up to two solar panel adapter modules can be connected to the DJI Power 1000, supporting up to six solar panels for solar charging. The DJI Power 500 can connect one solar panel adapter module and up to three solar panels for solar charging.
• The DJI Car Charger to SDC cable allows connecting one solar panel for charging. The maximum current from the solar panels must be less than 10 A, and the output power must be less than 100 W.
• It is recommended to use Zignes solar panels authorized by DJI. If using non-recommended solar panels, ensure they meet the following requirements to avoid damage to the solar panel adapter and power station:
- a. Open-circuit voltage is less than 30 V.
- b. Maximum current of a single solar panel is less than 10 A.
- c. Total power is less than 400 W when using more than one solar panel.
- • For the DJI Power 500, the maximum input power when using the SDC Lite port for solar charging is limited to 300 W.
- • During charging, keep the power station out of direct sunlight. Overheating may damage the device.
- • Prevent leaves and other objects from covering the solar panel surface. Placing the solar panel in a partially shaded area will affect energy production efficiency and may cause excessive current, potentially damaging components.
- • Dampen a soft cloth with clean water and wipe the surface to clean the solar panel.

Charging in a Car
The DJI Car Charger to SDC adapter can be used to connect a car's power port to the power station's SDC (or SDC Lite) port for charging in a car.
⚠⚠ Ensure the car's power port input voltage is between 12-30 V and the maximum input current is less than 8 A. Otherwise, abnormal performance or damage to the power station may occur.
• Before charging, ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the car's power port and that the car engine is running.

USB-C Charging
The DJI Power 500 can be charged using a USB Power Delivery charger via the USB-C port for a maximum charging power of 100 W. It also supports simultaneous power input, where two USB-C ports can be used for a maximum charging power of 200 W.

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
The power station supports Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). Connect the power station to an AC outlet and connect an external device, such as a computer, to it. Press the AC button once, and the display will show [AC icon]. In this case, the AC outlet powers both the power station and the connected device. Note that the UPS function is enabled by default.
In the event of a sudden power outage, the power station can automatically switch to battery power within 20 ms, ensuring the connected device remains in normal operation.
⚠⚠ The power station only supports basic UPS functionality and does not support 0 ms switching. NEVER connect the power station to devices that require 0 ms UPS, such as medical equipment, data servers, or workstations storing critical data. Doing so may cause device malfunction or data loss.

DJI Power 1000 Expansion
1/4" Thread Hole
The DJI Power 1000 power station has two 1/4" threaded holes, which can be used to connect the DJI MPPT solar module adapter:
- Mount one adapter to the power station as shown in diagram A.
- Align the mounting holes on the bottom of the brackets and mount the two adapters to the power station as shown in diagram B.
- Devices can also be mounted to the power station using 1/4" screws.

Protective Carrying Case
The DJI Power 1000 can be used with a protective carrying case. The case protects the power station from scratches and dust, and allows for more convenient carrying.
Open the front of the bag to connect external devices to the power station, and the back of the bag is for storing cables and accessories.
When using the DJI Power 1000 with the protective carrying case, remember to unzip both sides of the bag to avoid blocking the ventilation openings, which could cause overheating.

Appendix
Firmware Update
The firmware version of DJI Power 1000 and DJI Power 500 can be updated using DJI Assistant 2 (Power Series). Before updating the firmware, ensure your computer is connected to the internet. Follow these steps for a successful firmware update:
- Turn off the device. Simultaneously press and hold the AC button and the power button until the message LOAD (NAČÍST) appears on the display screen.
- Connect your computer to the designated USB-C port as shown in the illustration.
- When updating the firmware for DJI Power 1000 at a nominal voltage of 100 V or 120 V, connect the device to an AC outlet. Skip this step when updating firmware for other power station models.
- Launch DJI Assistant 2, select the product, and click the firmware update button on the left.
- Select the firmware version, carefully read the instructions in DJI Assistant 2, and click the update button. The firmware will be automatically downloaded and uploaded to the device.
- The firmware will update automatically, and the progress will be displayed on the screen. Wait for the process to complete. After the firmware update is finished, the device will restart automatically.
• During firmware updates, do NOT turn off or disconnect the device from the computer.
• When updating the firmware for DJI Power 1000 at a nominal voltage of 100 V or 120 V, do NOT disconnect the device from the AC outlet.
• If the firmware update fails, the display will show UPGD FAIL (update failed). Disconnect the device from the computer and AC outlet, press and hold the power button for five seconds to turn off the device, and try again.

Maintenance
- If the power station needs to be stored for an extended period, it is recommended to discharge it to 60%. Storing with a low power level may lead to excessive discharge.
- The power station should be stored at a storage temperature of -10 °C to 45 °C (14 °F to 113 °F) in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight. NEVER place the power station in water or in places where water may leak.
- NEVER store the power station for an extended period after it has been fully discharged. This may lead to excessive battery discharge and irreparable damage to the battery cell.
- Every four months, charge and discharge the power station to maintain battery performance: discharge the power station to 15%, turn it off for more than two hours, and then charge it to 100% in standard charging mode.
- If there are deposits on the ports, clean them with a clean, dry cloth. NEVER clean the power station with alcohol or other flammable solvents.

Unless otherwise stated, accessories are compatible with both DJI Power 1000 and DJI Power 500.
